    Greg,

Thank you so much for being a driving force in my trading. I have learned so much valuable knowledge from you and Pristine. This priceless asset has propelled my trading results to consistent and ever escalating weekly gains in my cash and my families retirement accounts.

I am constantly growing and have become a Master Trader.

As a result of me trading my Dad's IRA, My Dad at 80 years old has been able to retire from working full-time for 66 years. You have touched people that you have never ever met. My sincere gratitude.

Pristine is the superior place to learn the only way to understand the stock market. I always refer everyone to Pristine to begin their learning journey.

    All my best,

  • “Thanks a million for getting me set up for the classes. They were excellent. You guys are really terrific! I'm sure you receive endless amounts of praise for your great services but I guess not everyone puts it in writing. I wanted to add earlier, on a personal note, that after having met Greg Capra at the NY Traders' Expo last year, I feel that his sincere devotion and interest in teaching and assisting traders manifests itself in the quality and professionalism of all the people I have encountered in your extraordinary organization.”

  • “Interesting day to send it as I had just started listening to Advanced Management Strategies (AMS) all over again in my car. I often get as much and really even more benefit listening to something like AMS the 2nd or even 3rd time I hear it. Even the introductory comments are worth hearing again and again. I really enjoyed listening to the segment about the bar again. I've often thought that, why not a 4 minute bar? Or like you said 3 .24 minute bar. These our own inventions and don't mean a lot. All is well. I have made money each and every month intraday trading for a year with January and July being very good. That's never happened before even during the great years in 1995 and 1999. The risk each day is very modest, so it compares favorably.

Something to mention to others taking the class is what I mentioned. Listen to the material often until you're doing consistently what AMS is all about. Understanding it is not enough. Doing is what matters... See you in the Pristine Method Trading Room (PMTR).”

  • “Folks, I'm back to the Pristine Method Trading Room after being gone for a year studying the markets. The Advanced Management Strategies class is essential. You almost have no chance to make big money without it and I have not found anywhere else that can teach you position sizing and proper trade management. My research has been exhaustive. I keep my AMS manual by my screens at all times. I took the course a year ago and have not found anything close for the price you pay. You are welcome to contact me if you like. I'm usually silent in here but had to say this. Don't mess around if you haven't taken it!”

    Roberto D., Texas

    English translation:

I want to mention that since I took this course my daily trading has completely changed! I mentioned to you that I am an active trader and I manage accounts but I’ve always wanted to continue my training and not get married to just one idea of trading and now that I took Pristine my yields have gone to the clouds! With only 8 futures commodities contracts I’ve achieved a performance of up to 200% in one day on my investment.

I eternally thank you and Greg Capra for letting me come across you in this life. I ready to continue to study this great method.”

  • “Thank you for your GAP Course: The early results are very encouraging for both Intraday and Swing Trading. FEELS good to put those R’s on the board! I’m particularly encouraged to say the percentage of knowledge I gain every day from you in the PMTR is priceless”. I have learned how to prepare myself for the results by correcting behaviors that are required for consistent profitability.”

  • “Paul,

Thanks to you, Jared and Pristine's methods I'm now exclusively doing 1-2-3 continuation trades. My plan in a nutshell is 1-2-3 trades, 50$ risk and AON (1.5r and 3R) management. November, December and January basically breakeven. This month to date I'm 21+R. I look forward to your advanced management class later this spring or early summer. Thank you for your efforts. I couldn't be happier to have found this method.”

    Best wishes,

  • Dear Greg: “Its midnight, I'm lying in bed but cannot fall asleep. I'm going over in my head fragments of things that I recall Jared telling us today in MYTB. The trading course was simply fantastic and Jared was the man for the job. He presented it like no one else could've. I'm speechless with gratitude.”

    Thank you,

  • “ I wanted to thank you both for the amazing Tranding The Pristine Method Part 1 and 2 workshops in White Plains! There is nothing, absolutely nothing -- that can stop me from achieving my goals as a trader now. Know that I am much more likely to achieve my goals and achieve them more quickly with your support than without it -- and that is truly priceless.

I am looking very much forward to Live Scanning and Trading Dynamics, to delving into both of your DVD sets, and to each new step on my journey with Pristine -- it has been without a doubt one of the best decisions I've ever made.”

  • “Then in March I threw out everything and started over. Then your first Dynamics class in May really helped with my routine. I've gotten better every month since May and Sept was my best month this year. I feel I'm really close to getting a handle on the mkt.”

  • “Your dynamics class was absolutely dynamic!! Thanks so much for all the work that you put into this. It is appreciated more than you know! Being able to see your "live" thoughts on which stocks to watch or eliminate from your lists, watching the mkts. in correlation with your trades, but especially working with LII and seeing how that influences your trades -- really cool! There is no question that workstation setups and scanning information is absolutely necessary, but I feel that watching your actions with live markets is absolutely the best learning curve!

Pristine has excellent teachers, all of them!...your knack for teaching is truly above and beyond anyone else's! ”

  • “I am sounding a bit repetitious .... but THANK YOU....

I walk away from your seminars feeling so pumped, knowing that I can do this ....... if I study hard, work hard .......I know I will be successful... but I know I will look back when I have 'arrived' and know that you will have been a big part of that success....

  • “Thank you again for a wonderful TPM1 semnar last weekend. As usual it was very enlightening. You always come up with something I haven't caught before, whether it's coaching, workshop or seminar. I'm looking forward to working with Pristine further.”

  • “I can't thank you enough. On my first day trading after the Dynamics Class ,Tuesday before you're TPM1 Pattern Recognition Class September 1 when you were in Las Vegas. I traded eight times; I was profitable five times. Each time with $100 risk. Five trades created $670.50 profit, three trades lost $158 for $512.50 profit for the day. I was so excited I was jumping up and down. I have not been trading even at 50% probably and more like 35 to 40% so trading at 62% today and knowing that I'm still doing a lot of things not as well as I could is amazing. I am looking forward to doing much better.

Your teaching of TPM1 your DVDs on both the trading plan and tradable voids have been just wonderful.”
    Steve K.
  • “The Dynamics class provided the key I needed to unlock the door to the next level. It was incredibly helpful to see how your screen was set up & have the entire screen explained in detail! • Pristine Seminar Courses

Thanks again for all of your help. My trading has improved enormously since the AMS. In fact, I haven't had a losing day in the last three weeks! In hindsight, I see how your AMS trading course has got me thinking and orchestrating trades, rather than simply seeing and taking trades out of context, which I was doing before. It's as though beforehand, I could only see the notes but not hear the music. Now however, trading for me is becoming more and more a symphony!

    Enjoy the day,

    Tom F.
  • I just signed up for the Prop Trading program. I look forward to the program.

Regarding Advanced Management Stratetegies (AMS). Things are going very well. AMS has challenged me to think a great deal about my whole approach to trading and has dramatically changed my trade plan for the better. The net result is a little lower batting average and a dramatically higher sharpe.

I'm more profitable today than ever and I see a clear path to continued improvement and success with AMS ideas.

Thank you very much for putting the AMS program together.

What you are doing in the PMTR in describing your trade management is a HUGE benefit. This past week your BIDU trade, even though I wasn't in it, was VERY helpful. You aggressively added shares as the trade (PBS at RT) proved itself so that you could take 1/2 off at about 2R even though price didn't move that far. I learned a lot from this. The lesson to me was that getting full (and beyond in some cases) is as important as 1/2, 2X.

In AMS 1/2, 2X allows you to effectively capture pivot turns with a high degree of accuracy....that's great....now once the pivot has proven itself you have to really pound the shares/contracts so that you can take advantage of a small move and get the trade safe, keeping the original stop beyond the pivot. Then let the trade progress and ANR as applicable, all the while never a risk for losing money on the trade....it's the best of all worlds.

    Regarding advice for new students:

AMS will be a new way of thinking about your trading.

Don't underestimate that newness. Take it slowly. Write down in your existing plan *exactly* how you are going to trade AMS ideas. Trade simulator or small contracts/shares until you prove a positive expectancy (better expectancy than your existing plan too). I did 30+ trades combo paper/sim before trading real money.

    Best, B. Bowman
  • Hi Paul,

I've had 9 winning days in a row since taking your AMS trading course. Yesterday was my first losing day in ten. The smaller share size and twice the stop and the add and reduce tactics have combined to boost my trading confidence considerably. Thanks so much Paul!

I've been trading on and off since '05 but without making money (consistently). In fact, it's been a steady grind lower, but fortunately since I've never traded large share sizes, the losses over the years have been small; as I said, a slow grind lower. I don't know precisely why I could never 'get it', but now I seem to be finally gaining some traction.

For one thing, I suspect that I'm a closet fundamentalist, and that technical analysis simply militated against my investor prejudices. However, almost a decade ago, a six figure hit with a company called Enron started me on my technical analysis quest, and a few years later, I discovered Pristine (can't remember how). I believe as well that I never really grasped how a trader should 'think through a trade'. Indeed, I remember several instructors admonishing me over the years not to 'over think' some of the concepts expressed in TPM1 and 2. Unfortunately however, that was equivalent to telling me to become a faith-based trader, and there was no way in the world that would fly with me. I need to know, period. I need to understand, period. I'm not one to blindly follow anything or anyone, and that's why your trading course has been truly invaluable to me. For the first time, I felt I could become the take charge pilot, instead of always remaining the faithful, nervous passenger.

After that Saturday, I was able to think more clearly, using everything Pristine pounds away at of course, but with clarity like never before. Applying your tactics forced me to think through each trade. I now have a much better sense of context and of relationships. Before then, I had what I would call a 'thing' approach, where a setup was like an isolated, independent thing. Now however, I'm focusing on the relationship a setup has to the whole picture. I now appreciate how setups need to be seen in the wider context of higher and lower time frames, their sectors, the markets, the internals, and of course the time of day.

All of this is now embarrassingly obvious to me, but at least I've survived my long period of profound darkness, of thoughtlessness and incompetence. Hopefully, in the new light of day, I can finally get this craft off the ground, for I thoroughly enjoy the idea of each day being weighed and measured against the best and brightest on Wall Street. I still make the occasional dumb call and mistake of course, but now I smile when I do, for I sense that these familiar habits will become distant memories. Like the kid who can't wait to grow up, my nostalgia for the future has been renewed!

    Thanks sincerely,

    Tom F.
  • Thanks a lot for all your devotion towards the chat room.

I was going to email you tonight regarding positive feedback for the Advanced Management Stratetegies (AMS) Seminar. I have improved so much after taking the seminar and I have to thank you for the concept of "All or nothing" because it has earned me more income lately.

All your chats during trades, are from a high educated level, and every day I'm refining my trades.

I feel 100% part of Pristine, and as I talked before with Greg, my dream will be to join your team.

    Thanks very much for everything,

    Claudio O.
  • ...By the way, you have way answered any moving average questions I'd asked before. I now see a great majority of what I was doing wrong. And, now how to get way past that and move forward. This was a truly empowering day. Everything you taught demands and reinforces the core Pristine methodology. Kind of neat how this all comes together so clearly.

I'll be in touch w/ much better questions now, and I fully anticipate better overall results. Paul, you just rock !

    Mike O.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed your Advanced Management Stratetegies (AMS) class last weekend. I think the ideas presented represent a key component in taking my trading to the next level.

I've been a Pristine client for a couple of years now and have been exposed to a variety of ideas and styles. My operative (key word) trade plan is simplistic and profitable generating a ~65% BA and a sharpe a little less than one. This enables me to crank out profitable weeks albeit only averaging ~3.5R.

Historically my management style takes targets aggressively. In general I enter on 15 and 5M timeframes and then manage on one timeframe lower, with obvious results.

AMS (and in truth watching you trade in the PMTR daily) has been mind expanding. The way I conceptualize it is that trade ideas come from higher timeframes, are entered on the lower timeframes and then managed to targets and initial stops back to the higher timeframes (the concept of correct zipcode was an lightbulb moment for me).

So management is one key. The other key is that by focusing on higher timeframe trade ideas (i.e. 15, 60 and 240M setups and trends) I now am revising my trade plan to take lower timeframe setups that I wouldn't have considered previously, i.e. getting into trades on a 5M timeframe earlier than I would have previously. The net result is that for PBSs I'm buying earlier and selling later with more size (reverse for PSS of course).

I'm making enough changes that I've downshifted to paper trading for a little while until my new plan gels a bit more and I have more experience with these new concepts. I had a 5R week this week on paper which is good for me. I did get into trouble earlier this week when I took too many correlated trades and got slammed for a 4R collective loss when things turned against me.....and yes correlation is in my plan I just screwed up.

For the class itself I do have a couple of comments:

    * There was enough material for two days worth of classes.
    * A little too much time was spent on the introductory sections, specifically by the time we got to the meat of the class (1/2/2X and ANR) everyone had already used up a 1/2 day of mental energy on the intro stuff.
    * Much or all of the on the fly examples you demonstrated late in the day I think deserve to make it into the manual

Thank you very much for putting the AMS class together. Your ideas in AMS and PMTR are making and will make a big difference in my trading career.

I will let you know how I progress with the AMS ideas in the coming weeks.

    Best Regards, B. Bowman
  • Having worked with my husband in his business for many years, I know that receiving unsolicited comments regarding your company or employees, can be very insightful at times. Therefore, I just thought I'd mention some of my thoughts to you. I took a repeat TPM II class from Kurt this past weekend, and it was excellent! Of course, it stands to reason that he had a good teacher, but his knowledge of the subject and his ability to impart that to others is superb. He has a knack for simplifying and stating things in a way that make it an "ah ha" moment!

Even though I still struggle at times with my own shortcomings re. trading, I am absolutely convinced that Pristine is the one and only place that people should use for their education. I have taken classes from all of you -- Greg, Avery, Kurt, etc., and thoroughly enjoyed all of them, (even though overwhelmed at times)!

I've been around long enough to say that what you have to offer right now with regards to online classes, multiple chat rooms, intraday workshops and lectures, workshops with grads, DVD's, etc., has really come together well. The collective work of everyone involved is truly appreciated.

    Kathy R.
  • As per my earlier email this morning, I've completed my review of Trading the Pristine Method Part II and I'm now able to better assess your Advanced Management Stratetegies course. You may use my name or handle and quote as much or as little of the following as you wish.

First, if learning to trade without fear is the sign of a good trader, then your AMS seminar will get a trader to a state of fearlessness sooner than any other indispensible course I've taken with Pristine. Your idea of using a smaller share size and a wider stop has ended my fear of pullbacks, completely. Post-seminar, now I even hope for pivots to form, so I can use your second strategy of adding and reducing! I'm trading with much more confidence than ever before.

Second, if proper trading is proper thinking, your strategies force a trader to focus and think through the action. Your new course is a great way to tie together all the knowledge I've garnered from TPM 1 and 2, as well as the Labs. Like never before, I feel much more in-step with the markets and with the stocks I target for trades: more focused, more aware, more deliberate and calm, and altogether less surprised and disappointed. I'm taking larger share sizes to the targets, and smaller ones to the stops (which are also much less frequent); perfection itself!

My trading has improved enormously after only a single week of trading in the current choppy and uncertain environment. This market has to be the litmus test for any management strategy, and I'm very pleased to tell you how well your strategies are working for me. The AMS seminar is a game-changer. Thank you!

    Tom F.
  • What a weekend! Talk about intense... wow! An incredible amount of material to attempt to digest in some 20 hours. It will, of course, require much more time, like months!

The seminar as presented by Jared was excellent! Now making it all work would seem to be my own personnel challenge...

In any event, the course was exciting, extremely informative, and very well presented by Jared. I do not see how it could be improved as far as the talent of the presenter is concerned. Talk about impressive! And I do understand that the rest is largely up to me and the time and effort I am willing to devote to making the Pristine Method my own. I would like to begin Pristine ESP access as soon as possible and, of course, get back into the Trading Room. I do understand that my initial focus must be to learn how to trade well and that making money should be very secondary to the goal of becoming an accomplished trader.

    And so it begins...

    My best regards,

    Jim L.
  • Greg,

I enjoyed the candles course very much and learned a lot on how to read into the depth the candles also. I had no idea one could get so much information from price movement. The ability you have, to read into the depth of the candles, is amazing. This course will be a great compliment combined with the "foundation" course I completed around 3 weeks ago. ( also a very good course ) This should enable me to "swing trade", build some capital, and further my education with Pristine.

The only regret I have is not doing this back in 1998 or 1999 , when I first stumbled onto Pristine, after losing money in the market. With an education from Pristine, I'm going to succeed this time. Thank you for dedication, and determination, and persistence, on making sense out of a business that seemed so complicated. It makes a lot more sense to me now.

...Prior to any Pristine education I did 10 paper trades, testing what I knew about the market. I was very consistant, every one was a loss! So I did 5 more trades, more consistency, 5 more losses! I think I would have done better if I had threw darts at them. Sounds to me like I was the proud owner of a system that didn't work. Come to think of it I didn't even have a system!

AFTER THE PRISTINE COURSES... So far I have had 2 profitable trades reward to risk ratios 3:1 and 8:1, 1 SOH (sit on hands) trade, I noticed that after I started the paper work. So I did all the paper work to sit on my hands. I did nothing. 1 other trade was a NO TRIGGER, stock went the other way.

All this tells me that the system I am using now is working. The more I use it, the easier it is. I have a lot of paper trading to do before I open up an account, good chance that will be with MASTERTRADER.

    Wes H.

ps. Congratulations on winning the trading competition at the New York Expo !
( I took the day off work so I could watch it , enjoyed it ! )

  • I wish to thank you for a brilliant seminar that you held last weekend.

I have been trading part time (gaps only, out by noon) for the last 1.5 years. I have tried many ideas in the area of trade management, ones I picked up at other Pristine seminars, books or trading rooms, or came up with myself. Some worked well, some did not, but I always felt that there was a missing foundation, a mental framework that would shape my thinking on trade management. As it turned out, your seminar (Advanced Management Stratetegies) has provided just that, a cohesive system of concepts that defines the universe of trade management ideas which I can start using for my own purposes right away. This easily beats the price of admission as it would have taken me years (if not forever) to get to the same point by trial and error. I feel very happy to have taken the seminar, and privileged to be in its very first group of graduates.

Now, I find myself creating a plan on how to apply the seminar's material to my trading plan! The way you structured it, there seems to be a very logical sequence of small(ish) changes that can be applied, back-tested and tried live consecutively, leading from AON to Half 2x with ANR and beyond. I applaud you for that, Sir. I am looking forward to a fun and rewarding project.

    Thank you again,

    Anatoly B.
  • I want to thank you again for your awesome coaching. I made 8K on my 75K of capital on 3 positions. NFLX, TER and ADBE. I could have made more I had pyramid better. I did pyramid but could have done better.

I am not able to be in the room each day due to my day job. I am on vacation and... making money with you listening to you.

...You have the best room that I know. Thanks again. I love your style. DONT change!
    Minaz H.
  • Pristine is the best alternative that I have chosen for my education as a trader. I do not regret the investment I've made in my training with Pristine. The seminars are excellent, they are real chairs, explanations are masterful. The services after seminars are also excellent, and above all, there is a constant support from their counselors, and instructors.

Pristine is a first class stock trading education.

I recommend Pristine to anyone who want to receive a quality education as trader.

    Thank you, very much.

    Federico L.
  • Hi Greg,

Your coaching is the best! Candlestick course definitely pushed me to a new level as well.

    Thanks!

    Chris G.
  • Dear Olivia: I don't mean brag or anything, I'm already a pretty good trader who is able to pull profits from the market consistently. However, I'm just amazed how much you guys can teach me. Even though I already knew 80% of the stuff taught in TPM 1, but I'm still learning so much from you guys. Surely, this course will take my trading skills to the next level. I only regret I didn't take this course sooner.
    Carl C.
  • This course was excellent, packed with information.. we left with a full toolbox and strategies to suit our evolving styles in this marketplace. I've been trading for 16 years, including scalping 50+ trades a day from a live trading floor and 2 years live Forex. I've spent over 10k on training. Jody is the best by far: she began Forex trading for the largest of investment banks in New York almost 30 years ago at the highest levels trading millions a minute against the toughest global pros.

  • Just wanted to say thanks again. Trading options is the niche for me. Such a perfect fit with the Pristine Method. This is more fun than I've had in a long time. I have Nov 34 Calls on MDT, up 84% as of today, I'm holding it, doing bar-by-bar, because I think it can go higher. I keep an eye on the market, of course. I bought a Dec 2.5 Call on DPTR for $.30, one of my favorite low priced stocks. Sold it today for $.85, even with slippage and commissions, it was a 178% return. I couldn't be more pleased with Pristine. Using that knowledge, I look for a void on the daily where it is ready to cross the strike price. The value of the option rips higher as it goes in-the-money. I am grateful and appreciative of everything I've learned from Pristine.
    Thanks so much, Dick A.
  • Thank you so much for your awesome teaching style! TPM 1 provided the trading patterns and basic understanding of the market, but I still had a huge knowledge gap in how to actually set up my trading platform, find viable trades and execute them. The Dynamics class provided the key I needed to unlock the door to the next level. It was incredibly helpful to see how your screen was set up & have the entire screen explained in detail! In addition, having the scanning explained and demonstrated was invaluable. I loved your pep talks too, thanks! I'm on my way now & am so excited! Yay!!!
    Blessings to you! Becky M.
  • Just wanted to say thank you again for always going that extra mile for your students..... I really feel the dynamics class is an essential course to be successful in trading... although I am planning on taking TPM2 in October... I feel that without the Dynamics course I would be 'groping around in the dark' for an indeterminate period of time.
    Best, Roxane S.
  • There's no substitute for your Live Trading and Investing Dynamics Course. Spending many hours with you live has made me a more skilled, focused, and extremely organized trader. In addition, thanks for writing your very informative DVD series. See you again in September!
    Regards, Christopher G.
  • Hi Greg,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the mentoring sessions. They were very helpful and very much appreciated. Thank you for taking your valuable time to instruct us, something that is unusual in any business. Pristine is amazing in how much value they give with their courses, the follow up coaching and the free workshops. Unlike many other companies your classes do not contain sales pitches that take away time from the material, and all your instructors will spend as much time as necessary to complete the course work without skimping on the explanations. You all have such a giving attitude, that I thank God for having led me to you.

Thank you again. I look forward to seeing you in TPM 2 in 2 weeks.

    Blessings, Sandy L.
  • Hi, Thanks for yesterday and taking a Sunday out of your schedule. The Options seminar was great. I never thought about doing a credit spread that's worth over $4.5 when you have market direction going for you. That surely was worth the price of admission... Things you can't get out of a book. Thanks again, you're the best.
    Chris C.
  • Thank you again for the wonderful mentorship classes, the coaching sessions and all the free workshops you do. Pristine is unique in how much they give away and how much they strive to help their students.

I have read over 100 books on trading and have found nothing with the simplicity and accuracy of the Pristine Method. Not only do your instructors take the time to explain in great detail the nuances of the Pristine Method, they are willing to take their own time to clarify and critique trades after the course is over. Nowhere else have I found such dedication to the success of students. Your mentorship class was further evidence of this dedication. Seeing the markets and set ups in real time as well as the explanations of the pros and cons of trades was illuminating to say the least. The homework assignments were especially beneficial because they gave us the opportunity to test our knowledge and learn from our mistakes as well as reinforce the thinking behind correct selections.

I am truly amazed by how 'giving' everyone at Pristine is. Your chat room moderators are marvelous and I especially enjoy Avery's lectures. Everyone is so willing to share their knowledge and experience. I consider myself to be extremely blessed to have been led to Pristine.

Thank you and God Bless You for all you do!

    Sandy B.
  • Hi, Just realized what my change in experience was...

I can describe it in this way: Suddenly the market started to look like a place that offers unlimited abundance, if you just wait and pluck the fruits when they ripen, rather than a dangerous place where you have to constantly be on your guard so that you don't get eaten alive!

What a relief that gave me!
    Jed F.
  • It's now 11:30 pm in the UK and TPM 1 has just finished. In the week I stayed up from 1:30AM until 5:30AM both nights for the Bonus Class. What's more I don't care because I have been educated in such a friendly, informative and real-world way that I just had to write immediately to you to say THANKS SO MUCH. I shall recommend Pristine to everyone I can. Keep up the excellent work and especially thanks for being so thorough in answering all my questions. Without you I would have been so confused but now I see the light BIG time.

Best of Health to you and Angel,

    Steve J.
  • Hi Carlos,

The weekend was dynamic! He is a great, great teacher, and that description goes well beyond content, to his presentation, his modeling of a happy spirit, and to the passion that he has for his work!

Yes, I do want to join Greg Capra on the weekend of Feb. 7th and 8th. I have just funded my account with Mastertrader, and will be setting up RealTick with my pages next week.

Obviously, I am more excited and impressed than ever with The Pristine Method and those who are involved with Pristine. I came away from this past weekend with a very confident, yet sober view of the kind of approach that is necessary to be successful in the markets, as well as with the determination and (hopefully) the patience (which may seem like contradictory qualities, but really are not) to do this well.

    Thanks again Carlos,

    Jed F.
  • After years of trial and error I have finally become successful in my trading and even better yet, I understand why markets move the way they do - thanks to you. Your teachings of price action through the use of candle language is the most effective education I have ever experienced.
    Sincerely, Matt B.
  • I started trading in 2004. I wanted to know all I can about trading. I bought books, DVD's, automated software and had taken a couple of courses. What I learned was all the indicators, and patterns, and moving averages in the market. I paid for information and no game plan. I was eager to become a trader, but due to the lack of success, I was ready to give up. I came across one of the Pristine DVD's I had in my collection. It said something that caught my attention, "Every single dip in an uptrend is a buyable event". I wanted to learn this, buy fear and sell to greed. I called my Pristine Counselor at Pristine, I stated I read Pristine's book and watched a couple of Pristine's DVD's, what more can I learn from taking the TPM 1. Can you justify me paying almost $3,000.00 for a course? My Pristine Counselor stated I only learned about 15% of what Pristine teaches through the book ("Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader") and DVD. I was very skeptical due to everybody claiming to have all the trading techniques. After about a week of going through the Pristine's website and talking to my Pristine counselor, I decided to take a chance on TMP1. Result the course was FANTASIC and worth every penny if not more. The course gave the market meaning. Instead of a bunch of information it taught the necessary information to make money. The course gave me a plan and a direct course of action and how to take it. Recently I have taken the TPM 2, and have enrolled for the Trading Gaps and Lab 1 (Thank you Robin). If you are looking for meaning to the market and an objective way to trade, try the TPM1 and you will hunger for more. Also I can't forget the online coaching which help put everything together.
    Thank you Pristine, Marcus M.
  • Hi Avery,

I have to tell you that taking your gap classes and listening to you when I can have made so much difference. I'm certainly not getting rich (yet), but many mornings I make a trade or two based on what you taught, and I generally make a couple hundred dollars; I'm only risking about $100-$200 per trade, depending on my confidence in the trade. Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that you've made a big difference for me, at least with the gap trading.

Thanks a lot for your help.

    David J.
  • Awesome seminar yesterday. It was a retake for me and really enjoyed the additions that you have made since I last took it. Very helpful. Especially the last half.

    Thanks,

    Pam B.
  • Avery

Just wanted to thank you again for the great Gap Class. It was well put together, very organized, well presented and had a wealth of information for us day traders.

Thanks again for the great class

    Chuck E. (Lotus in RTR)
  • I have been trading five years. Three years before Pristine, and two years since. I wish I had found out about Pristine before. I would have saved a lot of money and avoided bad trading habits and hocus pocus indicator based methodology. I finally found the trading truth. Thank you Pristine!
    Scott S.
  • Just a quick note to thank you again for the fantastic online options seminar this weekend. It went well beyond the "greeks" and truly tied in the consideration of the underlying instruments. If I had known enough about options this past Friday to detail what I should really know and understand about the subject to learn to trade them well, I know now it would have looked like the seminar you created and presented. I appreciate your sharing your extensive experience in trading options with us. I am looking forward to "digesting" the materials and developing a trading plan for options. The information you have shared went well beyond any other course or book I have attempted to use to understand options. Over the coming weeks I hope to move from simply using puts and calls as a surrogate for the underlying stocks to using the great strategies you presented this weekend.

About 6 years ago after one of the first TPM II's in White Plains you met several of us in the Trading Room the next morning for an hour or so of some "show and tell". Wal Mart had gapped down on news and you went through the logic of buying the climatic bottom. I learned a lot in that short period of time and still mentally refer to "the Wal Mart" play when looking at a big gap downs on news. This seminar was like that hour in White Plains, it had the same great quality of instruction throughout, and it lasted a lot longer. I know what you imparted will have a significant impact on my trading in the weeks and years ahead.

Thanks again for all you have created in this seminar, it is certainly another of the "tools of excellence" offered by Pristine and its excellent cadre of instructions.

    Sincerely, John R.

  • Thank you for creating such an excellent options seminar. I'm ordering a 4th monitor for options trading.

My jaw is still dropped open over the awesomeness!

    Chris G.
  • I've enjoyed learning to trade options with you in the ATR these past months. During this past expiration period (Feb-Mar), I achieved my best result so far: losses of only 2 Risk Units and wins of an incredible 18 Risk Units! Although Option trading comprised only 20% of the trades I made last period, the option strategies I've learned from you account for just over half of last month's winnings! With such a result, I feel compelled to give option trading a more prominent place in my trading day. Thanks a million! (Well, not quite yet, but getting there :-))
    Tom F.
  • Good morning Avery. I just wanted to follow up on your Gap Seminar and let you know that I've been using the techniques you taught to slam the market like a red headed step-child.

Last week provided huge gains in NFI and LEND. Today was a monster trade in AGIX that yielded around 30% return on equity in about 3 minutes!

Thanks bro... I hope the PMTR got a nice slice of the pie too!

    Larry S.
  • When GOOG had a failed PBS around $448, with four days to expiry, I placed a bear call spread -- over 22 points out-of-the-money, taking in a net credit of $500 on a 10 lot, giving me a 5% ROI for four days risk! Learning Pristine Options has drastically changed my trading Activities -- for the better... thanks Pristine!

    Susie H.
  • Dear Simon,

I want to thank you so much for putting on a most educational Trading The Pristine Method - Part I seminar -- it really opened my eyes on technical analysis, as well as the proper ways to trade the market. I particularly appreciated your emphasis for us the students to first create a trading plan, and then to use it to guide our trading/learning activities.

    Sincerely, Larry Y.
  • Thank you for all the answers... And Avery was kind enough to respond with answers also.

I've been with Pristine for seven months and was brand new to the Markets a year ago (screwed up and started with Investools).

These are my results from 10 trading days over the last 3 weeks (now that I have no fear, all of a sudden I got so confident. Actually it really was right after I watched your new DVD): Out of the last 10 trading days, I've only had 2 losing days, and they were less than the winning days (average winning day: $240, average losing day $170)!

I just have to increase reward (to max 1.5x's trading capital), and get even better at staying a little longer in the trade and go by the charts and internals to get out, not the fact I made $XXX for day.

    Regards, Michael J. H.
  • Just a short note to once again say thank you for teaching Trading The Pristine Method - Part II in Calgary this last weekend. It is apparent that you care about your students by showing sincerity, integrity, stamina, and enthusiasm for what you and Pristine do. The course was a strong affirmation of what I have been learning and introduced some new perceptions that will allow the market to speak to me even more clearly.

All the best and good luck,

    Calvin H.
  • Hi Avery,

Just dropping you a note to tell you how much I enjoyed and appreciated your Gap class. It's nice to hear that you've lost none of your enthusiasm. :-)

Seriously, that was the best, most complete lecture I've ever heard on the topic of trading gaps. In retrospect, I have to agree with the policy of requiring Trading The Pristine Method - part I prior to taking the class. I was inundated with basic questions through out your lecture. My advice would be not to allow novice traders to sit in on the class if anyone should ask your opinion. It's too distracting and the importance of the material is just not fully comprehended by the uninitiated.

Your notes are excellent. I paid a pretty penny to have them copied (color) and bound, but it was well worth it as I have already been able to review the material. The addition of a few more charts as examples would be helpful during the lecture. This is not meant as a criticism, just an opinion.

Even though I currently have a good deal of success with trading gaps, I picked up enough good information and new ideas that it was well worth investing my time. I especially liked the idea of putting a watch list into ESP and using it to just scan that list. When you mentioned it, I slapped my forehead and said "schmuck", why didn't I ever think of that before?

I'll be sure to post your name when I sign up for ESP this week.

As a side note; the education provided at Pristine is just simply unsurpassed. While I truly like the RDFN room and enjoy their technology, they just don't come close to the education in the PMTR or the ATR. What sets Pristine apart is a method. Without a system or method to approach the markets, many new traders are just in over their heads. It's hard enough even when you have one.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

    Larry S.
  • Hi Avery,

I really pushed you today, peppering you with many questions and comments; appreciate your patience during a hard work day.

Seriously, a trader who learns this material could make a very nice living... Just from your Gap material combined with Trading The Pristine Method - Part I. Very comprehensive and great seminar! Glad I took it.

    Thanks, James M.
  • Great stuff....that MYTB. I took the course in July 2005 and the best part is that excel spreadsheet! Risk Per Trade (RPT), sharpe ratios, trending sharpe ratios, cummulative daily weekly and monthly sharpes...what else can I say!!

We are organized as an LLC in OH so that is also up to snuff. As you may know, I have also taken the E-mini Trading Lab and that is the majority of my trading focus....along with getting started core trading in my IRA.

For now I am spending some time this weekend making adjustments to the "Playsheet and Log" so I can use it for e-minis. At a minimum the quantity traded needs to be in tick or point multiples to make the profit/loss a readable amount on the spreadsheet.

Thanks for keeping me on your list. Ben P.
  • Thanks again for an excellent seminar.

One of the take away's from your class for me was to "xray" into the bars to get tighter stops and entries.

With today's fall (DJI -416.02), I can thank you for my gains.

I know that a profit of $695 is not a lotto ticket, but I would have lost money today if I had not adjusted on your advice.

    Take care, Dorrel A.
  • I can't begin to tell you how much more I picked up this past weekend by repeating your Gap Seminar. I know I've heard you give it before, but listening a second time, every thing just falls into place so much better. Thank you so much for your time and interest in helping me. Seems like everyday I pick up something new from your 'dissertations' on the psychology of market trading.

    Thanks, David J.
  • Thank You Avery. I'm really looking forward to Saturday. I know I've 'been there' once, but every time I listen to you, I learn something new.

I have to tell you, Pristine set-ups are good, and have changed my 'trading life', but the way you teach gaps has made all the difference. I've gone from losses to profits (albeit not much yet because I'm still using small position sizing) because of the way you've taught gap trading. Now that I understand them, it's like the light came on, and although stock movement is often unpredictable, using the methodology you teach has greatly increased the odds of picking winners versus losers for me. I can't thank you enough.

    Again, thanks. David J.
  • To fellow traders,

It has been over a year since my wife and I first started studying with Pristine, and we have had the privilege to be schooled by Susie and the other instructors. We decided to go with Pristine's PhD program, and although it takes a lot of work to get through it, the lessons we have learned have proven to be invaluable. Truly, if you want to make some real money, Pristine is the vehicle you need to accomplish that goal. The principals of Pristine, Pristine as a company, and also people at MasterTrader (Pristine-owned subsidiary broker house) are the best professionals with most integrity and morals we have seen in this industry. MasterTrader is a great broker to do business with, as they cater to all your needs. We would like to especially thank Pristine's coaches for the incredible commitment to his students' success, which goes far beyond the call of duty.

Surely, any business that you start requires capital and time investment; trading is no different. However, the advantage here is that there are virtually no limits regarding how much money you can make, little to no overhead, and zero traffic to "get in". I'd like to suggest to everybody to "not be penny wise and million foolish" when it comes to your education. It is the foundation of your trading business, so take it seriously and do the Pristine's PhD. program - it is worth its weight in gold!

    Leo O.
  • Susie, I briefly want to say I started today horrible, but taking seminars kept my emotions in check thanks to Pristine Seminars... I could not do without your help. Thanks again! I have a VERY long way to go, but I am no longer lost in the market!
    Alex
  • I'm very thrilled to tell you that thanks to all your teachings I'm a very profitable (paper trading until I resolve my tax status). And what helped me the most was that great lecture on all four pivots and the analysis of the trend that has to be on stage 2.

After six long years of not making money and thinking that some jealous person put a bad spell on me, I just found out that the market is a mechanism like the old swiss watches that requires precision to work smoothly and thanks to you that the market is not "out to get me" unless I let it.

I could go on and on but there must hundreds of lost traders needing your attention.

Thank you for all your teachings!

    Victor R.
  • Great, well thought out strategies, clear explanations, inspiring instructors, beginners dream come true!

    Adam W.
  • Fabulous seminar. Excellent foundation, very well organized and presented. It will serve as a way for me to start my development as a trader in multiple timeframes.

    Alan D.
  • Great course! Brought a lot of things together. It was helpful to have such an experienced trader teach us.

    Larry L.
  • I have been a proprietary trader and independent trader for 5 years, and I still learned a great deal. I recommend it for everyone.

    Jason Y. L.
  • I want to start by thanking you for this past weekend. I have done my fair share of training and I can tell you that this seminar was the best I have ever experienced. The content was great and was surpassed only by your outstanding teaching style. I feel that you put a lot of puzzle pieces in the right places for me. I have now reached a new 52 week high in my level of trading confidence. I cannot overstate the connection you forged between me and The Pristine Method® of trading and for that I am grateful (you are truly first class).

    Best Regards,

    Bob R., Aspiring Trader
  • All I can say is that was freaking awesome. Thanks very much for being such a great teacher and trader that shares knowledge. I'll be taking your TPM2 as well in the near future. Once I'm off and running more, I want to attend your in house if offered in future...probably in about a year or so. Please forward trading diary excel sheet when you get a chance. The Trade Analysis of The Week now has a whole new meaning for me as well. Spent entire flight back reviewing two days of notes. I think I compressed at least two years into five days!
    Chris G.
  • Gentlemen,

I just wanted to send a quick note and say thank you for your hospitality in White Plains this past weekend. Your constant involvement and support was much appreciated. You're no doubt good traders, but also good people. Definitely a unique selling point in this industry I've come to learn!

I wish you all the best, and look forward to seeing you all soon.

    Best Regards,

    Sandeep N.
  • FYI before I took TPM1 (Trading the Pristine Method® Part 1) if I started the day bad, it ONLY got worse, victim of "Why Me" syndrome. I have learned to be patient waiting for setups and it is finally paying off consistently. My confidence is 1000% better. Time again to say thank you to all!

    Alex S.
  • I want to thank you for contributing to my best month ever. In December I had a batting average of 53% with a sharpe of 2.24. What I find even more encouraging is my consistency for the month, as I was up every week and had only 5 down days.

I think there were a few key factors contributing to these results:

    • Lowered my R by 1/2 about 6 weeks ago, so I am calmer and less emotional in my trading. Better at sticking to my plan.
    • Getting better at SOH and waiting for the best setups that are in my plan. Used to jump into plays because I was afraid of missing the next move. Now I am more content to sit and wait.
    • Adding gap plays to my arsenal. The gap coaching sessions have really helped. I was 6 for 6 on gap plays, with an average win of 2.3 R. Here also, I am waiting for the best setups, as evidenced by only 6 plays.

By the way, SOH today, so that is why I have time to write this.

    Thanks Again,

    Mark K.
  • If you recall, I was the first to sign-up for the recent The Pristine Method® II seminar in Irvine on Oct 29-30. This email is my response to the experience of the two days.

    Value: exceptional
    Satisfaction: exceptional
    Content: exceptional
    Instructor: exceptional
    And on and on...

I was overwhelmed with the depth and quality of the information provided in the seminar. I was equally overwhelmed with Simon's skills as an educator and a technical trader. TPM1 was good, but TPM2 is truly an exceptional value.

My work is cut out for me to "internalize" this material and take my trading to the next level. Pristine has done their part, and it is now up to me to apply the material.

Please pass on to Simon my thanks for a quality two days. His understanding of the material was eclipsed only by his ability to communicate it.

I've now been exposed to the Pristine staff through seminars and coaching: Avery Meizner, Simon Brad and the rest of the team. They do not disappoint in any dimension of their skills. My confidence in Pristine as an educational provider has been strengthened by this exposure.

Thank you for a wonderful seminar. Express my thanks to all responsible.

    Harold L. K.
  • Just a quick note to say "Thank You" for a great class this past weekend. The format in which you presented the material was both informative and easy to understand. It definitely helped in allowing me to begin developing my Trading Plan. Your class also gave me a clearer perspective on my trading as a whole. It is greatly appreciated.

    Have a great day.

    Greg P.

  • Thank you so much for an expertly taught TPM I course this past weekend. I have had many instructors over many years of instruction--your technique and clarity of delivery are tops. You handled the somewhat frequent and occasionally obtuse questions with grace and conciousness.

I have been looking over past trades with new vision. It is amazing how uninformed so many have been.

    Barry W.
  • Just thought I'd send you a quick note to say "thanks".  Although Pristine's CD's and free services had given me a good understanding of the method and the techniques, the TPM1 (Trading The Pristine Method® Part 1) experience pulled it together in a way that's hard to explain.

I won't bore you with the details; but, I thought you would like to know that you've helped turn a frustrated, losing trader into a fairly steady winner who's having a lot more fun.

In three weeks after resuming real trading on 1-Feb, I have more than recovered the TPM1 cost.  You helped me connect the dots and I really appreciate it.

    Best regards,
    Brian O.
  • Just arrived home. I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed and benefited from the (Managing Your Trading Business) seminar. You are an excellent teacher. Alhought I was lost a lot of time I felt you were patient and helpful and didn't make me feel like a dummy.

I realized how much I've to catch up and how overwhelming the endeavor will be.

    Sincerely, Hans
  • First of all, let me say how much I enjoyed the (Managing Your Trading Business) seminar. I’m sitting here energized; I’m overwhelmed by the sense of organization I feel. I’m even looking around at other projects I have on the table and have a plan to address them tomorrow (very unlike me).

    Thanks,

    Richie
  • This is Bill G. from this weekend's seminars in Las Vegas. I wanted to thank you for a wonderful, if very full, educational weekend. I have been to many seminars and classes on many different subjects, but I have to say when it comes to BOTH the quality of material and instructor, this weekend was one of the best I've ever attended. I had been avoiding taking a trading class for fear that they would never justify the cost. I have looked a a number of firms, both trading and educational. I was eventually convinced by "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader" and the Pristine web site. The information in the book was more complete than any other trading book I've read and the amount of free information on the web site is remarkable. I told you how I first heard of Pristine with the Swing Trader CD from a third party where I paid $160 it. Even after finding out that it was 1/4 the price on Pristine's web site, it was still worth it for what it eventually led me to.

I am spending this week analyzing past trades in "hindsight", re-writing my trading plan and reviewing the manuals from the seminars. I am focusing on swing and core trading right now. I never really thought that intra-day trading was my style, but after this weekend it has become more intriguing to me and I will probably look at it more closely in the future.

I'm also writing you to request your tracking spreadsheet, trading plan template and the location of the Pristine TC2000 scans.

    Thanks again!!
    Bill G.
  • I really enjoyed your presentation at the Embassy Suites on Jan. 14th. Your professionalism and enthusiasm for trading has turned me on to Pristine education. Although I have been investing in the stock market since 1960, I have never believed in day trading until your presentation. I have ordered the book "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader" I want to read the book before I take your seminars.

I liked your money management presentation, and would appreciate a copy of your Excel spread sheet, also a copy of the business plan that you mentioned during your seminar.

    Happy trading,

    Robert W.
  • Thanks for the class. I just used what I learned to make a successful trade. You have no idea, how happy it makes me to know exactly why things are happening the way they are, based on the bar by bar analysis in TPM2. I am really pumped about taking the lab in Miami.

One note you may want to pass on to your future classes: Buy the review CD.

It was really helpful. Just listening to the material for a second time and in a slightly different manner made me understand the process/concepts a lot better. To put it mildly, I feel like I've had a breakthrough since taking your TMP2 class and watching the review CD this week.

    See you soon. Thanks again,
    Nick W.
  • Excellent seminar this weekend. I came out of there really pumped up. I thought it was really informative and was presented in a very easy to understand manner. I'm looking forward to learning more and beginning my career as a trader.

    Thanks, Paul S.
  • Upon my completion of TPM1 yesterday I just thought I would send you a quick note of thanks for your efforts over the weekend. I was so enlightened with the material and the potential that lies within it that I could hardly put the book down when I returned home. I am looking forward to taking the Labs, TPM2, and other sessions as I move toward becoming a master of the Pristine methodology.

    Regards, Joseph B.
  • Just a short note thanking you for the great two days last weekend. I have been diligently reading and studying the material. It is going to take a while but I am confident that the seminar and more just like it will make me a better trader. The Pristine Method™ is the best all around training I have ever seen or been involved with.

    Jim S.
  • The seminar this week was excellent. Although I've subscribed to the newsletters and PPSN for about a year now, and have thoroughly exhausted the web site for information. I have read Tools and Tactics for the Masterdaytrader on several occasions, along with many of the recommended readings. And let me just say, I could not put the pieces together without this seminar. I was finally able to understand where the major problems in my plan were and be able to correct them. As I said in the seminar you have to pay for some of the information that Pristine puts out, but I feel that this will pay for itself many times over. Again, thank you, and I can't wait to start trading correctly.
    Sincerely, Tony R.
  • ...Also wanted to tell you that your presentation of TPM-1 was outstanding! The weekend was a productive learning experience for me, and I enjoyed it thoroughly! You explained the trading concepts and Pristine strategies in a clear and understandable manner. I particularly liked your attention to detail, as well as your patience and willingness to answer our questions. Excellent seminar!

I look forward to taking the two week trading lab before the end of the year!

    Best regards, Bruce M.
  • It was good talking to you. Just finished looking over the figures on last years trading. Thanks to your Trading the Pristine Method® Part 1 class the Core increase was 59% and the Day Trades were 87% which is a substantial increase. The increase wouldnt have been anywhere near these figures without the Pristine training. Additionally, after the classes I have learned a ton from the Advanced Trading and Pristine Method® Trading rooms.

    Best Regards, Ted S.
  • I attended the introductory seminar Friday night in White Plains. You sold me. Your affability aside, I appreciated how articulate you were and the sense underlying your presentation that you appreciated and respected the Pristine system; in fact that you were a believer rather than a salesman. Moreover, I came expecting a sales pitch and it was so low key that it made me much more comfortable with your presentation.

Thank you. I look forward to seeing you somewhere along my path through the Pristine education.

  • Terrific job last week at Trading the Pristine Method® Part 1. After 2 years of trading I finally feel as if I've found a method that can serve my day trading needs. I plan to spend some time "digesting" the materials presented then go on to Trading the Pristine Method® Part 2....
    Kent B.
  • Thank you very much for your great efforts and your patience. I have attended so many seminars during the past few years in mostly all over the world, Singapore, Bahrain, Geneva, Egypt and L.A , but I didn't find courses and materials like what Pristine.com is offering. Also I did't find instructor like you learning the materials from his heart by presenting them in a very interesting and appropriate manner.

During the next few days, I will switch from the other platform that I am currently using to ReaTick and I will use Pristine.com for my next learning materials. Also I will take the Trading Laboratory Course that you are offering soon.... but after I open an account with RealTick and spend sometime to be familiar with. At the same time, I will continue taking the Trading the Pristine Method Part I and II will subscribe with the other services... that will fit my need as a trader. In general, I will be with Pristine.com as long as I am trading stocks.

  • Just wanted to write a quick note in appreciation of the TPM2 conference in Chicago last weekend. I greatly benefited and it was well worth the trip!!

In addition, thank you for discussing my 30 minute entry strategy we discussed at lunch. Your comments were very helpful. I've spent much of the past week backtesting various capital and profit preservation strategies and I've come up with several items to make the strategy more effective. It's been great having you in the Pristine Method® Trading Room this week - thanks for your input!!

    John S.
  • Great seminar..... wanted to let you know what a great teacher you are! I learned a lot and have already been able to apply some techniques successfully....

  • I cherish my Pristine education. In my opinion, it has been a “PhD in Trading.” I attended Trading the Pristine Method® Part 1 in November of 2002 with Bill Knotts, the 2-week Trading Lab in December 2002, Trading the Pristine Method® Part 2 in January of 2003 with Bill Knotts, and repeated TPM2 the first weekend of March 2003 with Paul. I am part of The Pristine Method® Trading Room. The education I have received is priceless. My confidence in my trading ability has grown 100 percent! I now look at the market from a whole new perspective. Pristine helped me develop a trading plan and my consistency is improving each month.

Many people think that Pristine’s methods are only designed to trade stocks. I have learned first hand that their methods can be applied to stocks, options, and commodities…any issue that has a chart. Recently, I began day trading the S&P E-mini futures. Pristine’s methods have helped me identify:

    - The intraday trend of the futures by analyzing multiple time frames
    - The best times of day to trade
    - Significant support and resistance points
    - Intraday pivot points
    - Exactly where to enter a trade
    - Exactly where to place my stop
    - How to trail my stop in a winning trade
    - My profit target for ½ my position
    - My profit target for the back ½ of my position
    - How to enter at significant reversal points
    - How to use bar by bar analysis to enhance my profit, enter a trade when a pattern FAILS, and when to exit BEFORE my stop is hit
    - And most importantly, when to hit the sidelines and NOT trade!

The money management principles Pristine taught me have helped me determine how many futures contacts I should play according to my trading plan.

The benefits of a Pristine education are too numerous to list here. I highly recommend the education they have to offer. If you are a serious trader, take a serious look at this company! I want to thank all the Pristine educators for all they have done and continue to do for my trading success!!!

  • ...I wanted to extend a note of thanks to you for a great informational weekend. And thank you very much for being easily approachable and very insightful in your knowledge and conversations. Thank You. Thanks to you and all Pristine staff, I have been provided with great knowledge about what it means to be a student of the market. I was thankful and amazed of how much new information I learned during my refresher weekend of TPM1. I have been diligently going through my manual and my notes and thanks to you, have rekindled my CD seminar series, and am getting to the point where I am memorizing the dialogue and what is going to be said next...

    Joe S.
  • ...Just writing to say thanks for the seminar in Irvine and also to boast a little (hoping you'll be proud of me.) I have no one else to talk to here (who cares about trading.) Again I made $900 on Mon, my first $1200 in a single day on Tues. and my first $2,100 today. Almost all of it thanks to the Pristine training (books, videos, etc...)

    Ivan A.
  • I just wanted all of you to know how much I appreciated the Trading the Pristine Method® Part 1 seminar you guys did in Chicago last week. Prior to the first few minutes of the class I was fearful that the class would merely be a rehash of the book and all the videos I've "studied" over and over again in the past year. Nothing could be further from the reality. Yes, you guys went over the same stuff, but you certainly saw our reactions as the "lightbulbs came on"!

I especially appreciated the way that each of you made sure we didn't merely hear what you were saying but actually understood it. How many times did you stop the class when you saw my eyes glaze over? You made sure I understood. Your individual styles of presentation meshed to form an extremely powerful experience for me.

As a continuation of that class, I've opened an account at Mastertrader, within the next week or two, I'll be increasing my Pristine service to the Gold subscription. But by far more importantly than that, your presentations and sincerity of purpose, raise my hope to an expectation that I'll be able to conquer my "psychological demons", change my trading practices and become a successful trader...

    Hal M.
  • ...we had the opportunity to look at the market using a different view: the view of simplicity, patience and confidence. A very different view of trading, a Pristine view...

  • I attended the pristine seminar in May / June and wanted to give you some more feedback...
I'm a very careful person when it comes to money and investing / trading and therefore I must admit, that I was sceptical in the beginning...

But it's just amazing how much I benefited from the course with you guys in white plains. I was more into portfolio management and wanted the course to improve my timing skills for portfolio management. I started then in mid-june trading and portfolio-timing. It's just wild how this course improved my skills in both (trading / portfolio management)...

    Greetings from Vienna, Florian B.
  • It's been nearly 3 weeks since I attended the Trading the Pristine Method - Part 1 seminar, (looking forward to attending Part 2 the end of next month,) and I have to comment again on what a profound impact Pristine has made on my trading career. I last mentioned that prior to attending the seminar I had lost 20% of my starting capital, and within days after attending the seminar I recouped 50% of my losses. Last week in employing some of the disciplines, and methods learned from the seminar, even in this choppy market, I've recouped 100% of my trading capital. This has provided me a new lease in a career I only started with 3 months ago; additionally my portfolio is up 15% as of this writing.

For me each day proves to be exciting, filled with possibilities, and abundant opportunities, each day I ask myself "How will I treat the market today?" Thank you, my debt of gratitude to the other instructors for engineering such a "Pristine Trading Method," to assist the would be Day Trader in negotiating through what proves to be such a perilous landscape we have chosen to be our playing field.

    Best Regards, James T.
  • I gained more understanding of the function of the market in 4 hours than 2 years and $20K with other courses. You have a new follower!

    Anthony S.
  • I wanted to take a minute to thank you for the excellent seminar this past weekend. It was beyond my expectations and certainly defines my development goals for quite a while into the future... I took The Pristine Method® seminar in Miami this past June and had gotten bogged down with the "slack" between swing setups and stops within the choppiness of this market...this seminar really filled in the blanks.

I started in the market the first time about the time that you first did and spent about 18 months or so trying to trade on a fm level I set up and a very slow modem connection, before I decided I'd lost enough without enough progress. I can appreciate what the two of you went through in the early years and the effort that went into developing the material, like this weekend's seminar, that you are now offering. Having "discovered" Pristine I have a very strong belief that this time I will be successful and I am dedicated to that end. I know I couldn't have the conviction I feel without the excellent education I've gotten so far at Pristine...and your seminar was the crowning moment in this...

I am working on digesting all the material you presented and will probably take a Trading Lab as the next step. You certainly gave me enough to keep me busy for a while... Thanks again...it is Great...

    John R.
  • Once again thank the entire Pristine Staff that was involved in the Seminar that I attended on May 18th. I can never get enough Pristine education.

At a later date I look forward to possibly attending either the Mentorship program or the Trading Lab. I am on a trading break right now but I felt the urgency to respond to your email in order to express my gratitude.

    Sincerely, Leslie S.
  • I wanted to take a few minutes when I got back in town to share my appreciation for the personal instruction I received from you throughout the seminar and especially on Monday. I really learned an enormous amount the entire day that I spent with you yesterday. The time that you devoted to showing us your daily routine and how to go about finding potential intraday trades was worth the cost of the seminar. After spending the entire day, yesterday, absorbing the information that you selflessly shared, I left feeling empowered, motivated, and confident that I could set the rules and let the market come to me. That truly means a lot to me.

    Chris P.
  • It was very nice meeting you at Pristine's 1-day seminar in White Plains. Thank you very much for the advice and the personal information you relayed regarding your own trading experiences from your start to now-going from being intimidated to having 36 consecutive winning days of trading illustrated what can be accomplished with the right training.

As I mentioned to you before I wanted to take a step by step approach to properly learn how to trade. This 1-day seminar, besides acclimating myself to the Pristine method, served as a way of determining whether I would want to make greater future commitments towards Pristine's methods and services.

The seminar was informative and non-intimidating. Furthermore, you were very approachable and appeared genuinely concerned for our well-being. This concern and helpfulness speaks volumes especially in the light of all the scams and "take your money and run" gurus out there.

Naturally, now I am spurred on even more to learn and look forward to attending Pristine's 3-day Seminar.

    David G.
  • Thank you for your precise and clear algorithm in order to trade with a controlled risk. Your seminar highly deserved the trip from Paris to New York. I confirm you that starting 11/01/99 I will be part of your seminar for a period of six months.

    Thank you and best regards,
    I. MONTANE, PhD
  • Just a short note to tell you how much I learned (and enjoyed) the seminar in New York. As a CPA I have experienced indescribable boredom in these 8-hour sessions out through my career. Granted your subject matter is of great interest to me but with that aside, I do think you are by far one of the best teachers and presenters I have ever seen. The time seemed to fly by.

From a selfish standpoint, I hope that Pristine will locate an office in Florida. More specifically, Tampa/St.Pete. We have one of the easiest access airports in the country and are 25 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I would love having a trading room right here.

Thanks again for your course and the inspiration to go for it.

    With Regards, Susan
  • The fact that I am now a successful day trader is due to your willingness to share your wisdom! There is no substitute for experience, but sucking up the knowledge of those with experience is a close second. I owe you and your seminar everything.

    Mark, Illinois
  • I would like to thank you for a most enlightening day. You have made me look at the market in a different light. I have used some of your day trading strategies and they have so far been successful.

    Johnny, New York
  • Thanks. I really enjoyed the seminar last weekend. I found the insights into market dynamics and Market Makers especially valuable. I am focused on using some of the strategies and signals you taught: NSOL has been in a downtrend for several days. As you taught I was watching as it approached a 200-day M.A., briefly broke below, then rocketed away for a $34 gain today. The big clue was a volume spike at about 11:30, an "elephant." Before the course I would have wondered, "What's that about?" Duh! I feel way smarter (and richer) this afternoon.

    With heartfelt thanks, Jim.
  • Thanks for the powerful and enlightening seminar this past weekend. Your energetic and passionate teaching of the large volume of material made clear a sincere desire that we "get it". I particularly appreciated you sharing your insights into the psychological and emotional reasons behind the setups and how they relate to the way the market really is. My window of understanding, formally clouded has been opened and enlarged. Thank you again for the "xray lenses."

    Regards, Ray L
  • Online Seminars

Reviewed TPM1 again using your online home study version - and got a lot out of it. It really helps the second time around - and to get a different prospective. I think that you did a superb job - thanks very much.

    Best regards
    Don S.
  • Thanks again for a fantastic seminar; I really think that I got more out of the internet version than I may have face to face.

    Tyler C.
  • Your Trading The Pristine Method - Part I Home Study Course is better than great! I picked up so darn much I missed the first time around. And much more of what goes on in the room with trades makes more sense. The ability to play back and play back again is invaluable! I will have been through it 4 times by the time my access expires. Don is also reviewing, so even our dinner time conversation is Pristine centered.

    Bobbi S.
  • Greg,

I have been listening to "Intra-Day Trading Tactics." I have listened to many programs on trading and simply wanted to tell you that your presentation has helped me more than any other program. You truly have the gift of being able to break down complex concepts and present them in a fashion that is interesting, persuasive and informative. Simply put: Your presentation was the clearest and best I've seen. Thank you and keep up the good work.

    Sincerely, Ori W
  • Greg,

I recently attended your Online Intra-day Seminar and thought it was terrific. I have been using technical analysis for more than 15 years and found your insights to be particularly useful.

    Thank you, Leopold H.
  • Trading Labs & Mentorships

    Olivia:

Just a note to say how much I enjoyed the Pristine Trading Lab - Part II with Simon. I feel like I have been educated at Harvard's School of Business . Two weeks ago I had a fishing rod. This week I have learned how to use it. Thank you for leading me through this journey.

    Harold F.
  • Greg,

Thank you very much for the Emini class.

It was a great learning experience.

I have been a Pristine customer since the fall of last year. I've completed TPM1 and 2 (home study). In addition I've purchased most of the DVD suite of products that you have. The Emini class really brought the Pristine method information together for me. I think the base of the previous study prepared me well for the Emini class.

Pristine is a tremendous asset for me as I progress towards making a living trading. I have recommended Pristine to numerous friends some of who are now active Pristine customers.

I appreciate all that you and your company does.

    Best Regards,

    Bruss B.
  • Dear Greg,

I am sending this note to tell you that after having taken the Online E-Mini Trading Lab from you and previously the online TPM II, I really understand your wise advice when you told me: "I believe doing this, plus the time in the ETR room will provide you the foundation that put the ball in your court to succeed. At that point, you will have the educational material needed. Then you have to work at putting the trading plan that is right for you and have the discipline to apply it".

Now I definitely have a much better picture of what I should be doing everyday in my intraday trading, and a much better idea of how to capture those good short term patterns and put the odds on my side. Although I know that I have to take a slow systematic way toward successful trading and continue working hard to begin to see things in my own way, I really believe if I make a plan of trading and have the discipline and I am patient, I will succeed in this business.

Thank you so much for your support and time,

    Jose M. P.

  • Greg,

Thank you very much for allowing me to review the E-mini mentorship.

It has really helped me to hear it again. There are not very many people in this business that cares as much as you do about the success of us traders.

It makes me feel good to be a Pristine customer since we have already invested so much with the TPM I & II and then retakes and the education materials. This no cost retake gives me a great deal of satisfaction with you and all of the Pristine staff and services. Thank you so much Greg.

    Thomas B.
  • Greg,

I have benefited from Pristine training in the past with TPM1, TMP2 and Internals courses. But the most valuable and enjoyable was the "E-mini Trading Lab".

Reviewing main trading concepts in great details was an excellent start. Because most students previously took TPM1 and TPM2 courses, everyone concentrated on how to apply those principles in practice. I really appreciate your patience and your generosity in teaching us the finer points of trading.

Prior to the "E-Mini Lab" many of us felt that the concept of trading support and resistance was clear, but at this course we had learned the "tricks of the trade" (pardon the pun) that were impossible to cover in the basic courses. Showing us how to apply those trading principles during the real-time market sessions helped us to understand many of the concepts better.

Prior to the "E-Mini Lab" many of us felt that trading concepts we learned in TPM courses were clear, but during the Lab we learned in real-time the "tricks of the trade" (pardon the pun) that were impossible to cover in the classroom. Showing us how to apply those trading principles during the "live" market sessions helped us to understand many of the concepts better.

The best part of the "E-Mini Trading Lab" for me was your real-time coaching in the "E-Mini Room". Following your thought process and observing your decision-making was the most beneficial and enforced what we learned.

I would also like to thank you personally for your continuous support, instructions and guidance.

    Vera P.
  • Hi Simon,

Thank you again for being my instructor for the Pristine Trading Lab. This was my very best workshop that I have attended.

I have learned many valuable routines that will and have made my trading much more successful.

I am very happy to have met you and that I have attended the Trading Lab.

I will see you again at the Trading Lab 2.

    Sincerely,

    Kenny S.
  • Simon,

Thank you for all of the help, support, and guidance last week during the trading lab. I learned so much from our time together.

    Adlai C.
  • Dear Simon

I would like to address you a few words to say thank you for the interesting lab experience of last week.

I truly appreciate that you somehow "sacrifice" your precious trading time to teach others such as I the basic and more advanced guidelines and techniques to better read and understand the markets and price movements of stocks as well as all the other features and issues which are so fundamental for someone to even have a chance to become a successful longtime trader.

I am very eager and excited about applying and testing what I learned even though, as we have discussed, I will need time to digest, address, focus and experience everything learned. I am still a bit confused here and there but I can tell that things are crystallizing every day a bit more.

I will be traveling the coming weeks (Morocco and Florida) but once I am back in my office in Zurich, I will focus on applying and exercising what I've learned during the TPMs and the Lab1 in the hope to really enhance my self-confidence and skills and maybe visit the Lab2 at some point in the Fall/Winter of this year. And I will allow myself to get back to you with questions or charts/setting studies in the hope that my mails will not end in the spam filter :o).

Again thank you very much for your precious input wrapped in a lot of patience! In the meantime I wish you all the best.

Take good care and receive my kind regards from Switzerland,

    Alain J.
  • I wanted to thank you for the great experience I had in the Las Vegas Trading Lab. I never realized how important it was to time the "perfect" plays with market internals. Your style of teaching with great enthusiasm and with focus on fine details is the type of educational environment that I do the best in. You always spent whatever time was necessary to be sure a student understood the concepts correctly. Also, your options strategies were very helpful and I am looking forward to your upcoming options course. This was clearly the best of the Pristine courses that I have attended.

    Thank you,

    Bill M.
  • I have had extensive trading education and without question, The Trading Lab - Part II in Las Vegas and the Online E-mini course are the best courses that I have attended. The Lab made substantial modification to my trading plan which I anticipate will quickly prove beneficial. Today, was my first trading day since the Lab and my chart reading and trade management processes showed significant improvement.
    Larry W. D.
  • The Advanced Trading Lab gave me the confidence to step up to the next level in my trading career. The focus on concepts that are merely mentioned in previous Pristine education is just what I needed. The review of my trading plan during the lab also showed me that I need to adjust my plan to utilize more TPM 2 concepts to improve my performance. This lab exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds!
    Bill G.
  • "In light of some of today's conversations, I decided to send you and email and weigh in on the value of the e-mini trading lab and Pristine in general.

I started trading stocks three yeas ago and I did every single dumb thing a trader can do, some dumb things even twice. Then I stumbled across Pristine on the internet. The first day I logged into a trading room and turned on ESP, I was so lost it was comical. That week I sat down and read Tools and Tactics For The Master Day Trader. Since then I have taken TPM 1 & 2, the E-Mini Trading Lab and the managing your trading business class. Every single class has been productive and made me more profitable. Every class, every lecture, every email has helped me grow and expand so that I can now earn a real living trading stocks and futures.

By far the E-mini Trading Lab really made everything come into focus. It not only taught me about e-mini's but improved what stock trading I still do. The chat room and e-signal has improved my bar by bar analysis so I actually see patterns and even now understand them. While I still have a long way to go, the interaction with you the others in the room, has been invaluable.

I took the e-mini course in August and I can now consistently trade the YM and make money. I can not think of any other education for a person who is willing to work, and learn that has the return on investment that Pristine has had for me. I could not make any where nears as good a living with my master's degree in marine engineering as I do with the tools I have learned from Pristine. And the cost of that master's degree was a great deal more than all of my classes, subscriptions, and books combined. Pristine is the most valuable education I have ever had.

To close, thank you for all of your help and I look forward to continuing my education with everyone from Pristine. If you feel it would be helpful, feel free to share these thoughts with the room or other pristine students."

    Sincerely, Lydia L.
  • "Things are going great! I've turned the corner and haven't had a losing month since May. Although not making enough to live on yet, I'm moving in that direction. The next goal is to improve my batting average and sharpe ratio along with raising my risk (R) value, which currently is $100. Right now my batting average is about 40% with a sharpe of 1.6. My plan is in place, but my biggest demon right now is sticking to it. I've never been a very disciplined person, but trading is changing that! I have a good plan that works when I stick to it, but sometimes I will see a pattern that is not in my plan but still looks good and will play it without thinking about my plan. Kind of like when I quit smoking long ago...I had no problem quitting but I found myself mindlessly reaching for a cigarette after each meal for a while, until it sunk in that I quit. In trading I am getting MUCH better at sticking to my plan (discipline) compared to a few months ago. It's just a matter of time to get to the unconscious competence level. Experience and Lab 2 should help me get there. I figure that as long as my road to success keeps going in the right direction, I'm doing well. Even though it's not instant success, I am in this for the long haul...there is NO WAY I'm going back to work for someone else!!!"

Thanks to you and EVERYONE at Pristine!!

    Bill G.
  • "The Pristine Trading Lab was a wonderful experience. It is the closest anyone can get to actually trading the market. The emotions are the same - when you lose money it hurts, even though it's 'demo dollars'. But it allows you the opportunity to correct mistakes, or even point out the ones you were ignorant about. The teaching is phenomenal and so is the learning."

    Gerald C.
  • "I honestly was not expecting so much material to be covered in such little time. The Pristine Trading Lab has given me the confidence to know that I can pull money out of the market, even as a beginner. I am very impressed!"

    Joseph C.
  • "For any one out there serious about trading and considering it as a business, this is a must do if you don't want to end up within the statistic of the 85% of novice traders being whipped out in their first year of trading. My only regret is not to have taken this lab earlier, as it would have saved me from many losses, fears and frustrations."

    Sylviane D.V.
  • "The Pristine Trading Lab took TPM1 and the RealTick trading platform from the abstract to reality. I realize now how naive I was to think I might meld both without this step. So far, so good on my way to a new career."

    David T.
  • "I highly recommend this lab to all aspiring traders. Personally I wish I had taken it 6 months earlier. I would have saved a 20% drawdown in my account. I'm now comfortable that I have enough skills to make a good living by trading although I also recognize I still have a lot to learn."

    Rick T.
  • "Before the lab I was struggling with myself, if the lab is worth the time and money after this week I say it's worth every minute and every cent I spent to come the long way from Hamburg/Germany. My instructor is the most experienced and professional teacher. Pristine gave me all the tools to survive at Wall Street and it's now up to me to increase my knowledge. Next step is for sure TPM2. Every serious trader should take the opportunity of the lab. This is the fasters and most secure way to come up to speed in your trading business."

    Jens H.
  • "By far the most professional experience I've been a part of. Intense training, wonderful people and instructors. The lab is a very necessary step for all aspiring traders"

    Gregg A.
  • "The evening before my last day leaves me feeling a little melancholy. The time flew by. The Pristine Trading Lab is an invaluable step that must be taken by anyone whose goal is to become a serious full-time trader."

    Richard K.
  • "An excellent return on my investment of time & money. Intelligently organized, insightful in content and excellently presented. The instructor was artful in his teaching and yet professionally demanding."

    Michael M.
  • "These weeks helped to bridge the gap between understanding the theories and being able to successfully apply and execute those skills to the computer trading vehicle. Pristine's teachings are fabulous and incredible!"

    Joe S.
  • "The whole program was presented with a generous spirit from snacks to lab access to information dissemination & personal interaction. The Trading Lab is a perfect opportunity to discover who you are as a trader & where you go from there. It's not live, so come to jump in and trade!"

    Gayle P.
  • This is just to say thanks to both of you for the help you have provided to me in the past couple of days. I am relatively new at trading the Pristine Method, and have had difficulties in the past two months. You both took time out of your busy schedule to counsel me, a new pristine trader in need of help.

You stressed the importance of being more selective in choosing only excellent risk/reward candidates, especially during my fledgling first trading year. You opened up a whole new world of ideas for me, which I hope to learn more about when you teach TPM2 in Irvine on July 31st.. You both were very encouraging.

This thing called trading can be very frustrating at times. The past two months have been such a time for me. But I'm determined to survive, and to learn. And I believe that with Pristine, it will happen.

Please forward this email, with my appreciation of both of you.

    Respectfully, Kent T.
  • “The best and probably the most cost effective way to develop or hone your trading skills – It was like one-on-one training! The instructor was terrific!”

    Bob Y.
  • Hi Peter, just a short note to say thanks for a great bootcamp, I learned a lot and really enjoyed it. It is so different in a trading room as opposed to on your own at home!!

    Fraser H.
  • “Great educational experience. Highly recommended for the novice who has an inkling of getting into the market. The educational process should be everyone’s prerequisite.”

    Alonzo F.
  • It became painfully clear to me after completing the trading lab that I have been trading in the markets like a pilot flying in heavy clouds without an instrument rating. The latter kills one while the trading kills anything one might have in the bank. I have a long way to go and a tremendous amount to learn, but thanks to you, I am on the right road with the right tools. Thank you for making yourself available and for having the desire to teach and to share your own knowledge.
    Dale J.
  • This was the most outstanding class I've ever attended. The content was excellent and the application of knowledge and trading techniques was masterful. I can't wait for Monday.
    Ron H.
  • Peter

I wanted to wish you and the rest of the Pristine Family the best for the holidays. I also want to let you know that your class was a great help and my trading has been profitable ever since.

    Paul H.
  • ...First off, let me say what an honor it was for me to be in a class of such astute men/traders. It was the most intense and educational 10 days of my life...

    Ronnie R.
  • ...My personal growth over the last 8 days I spent with you, John and the crew left me pinching myself, wondering if what had transpired over that time was real. I looked at my trades and I realized it was.

I started to get glimpses of what a profitable trader experiences, thinks and sees. I think I stand a greater chance of being a consistently profitable trader after the time I spent/will spend with you. I can t wait to get back to the room.

Call me Mister Sector and Relative Strength from now on. Thanks for your patience when I persisted with pushing you a little further on the discussions on the charts. My eagerness can be a little overpowering.

Yesterday morning I promised my wife I would only trade for the first hour. I switched on CNBC. Saw RIMM pre market. Aha a Gap up candidate. Great! My computer wouldn't work. Agghhh. I got it going at 9:35. Saw RIMM powering up. The futures started to fall, Rimm stalled at 28, checked the futures, falling, great, short 1000@ 27.9, didn't get filled, Don t chase the move Aidan, Rimm had an up tick for a second, bingo!!! I m filled, TIMBER!!!!! Down she fell first support 26.5, ready Aidan, cover 26.4. I m in the MONEY!!!! My first GAP and Crap, Yihooo!!

Oh no the futures are basing!! I want to trade, AIDAN THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND, WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION!!!! 11AM Brenda came in, come on you've got to help. I leave my station. Family first!! I come back to collect her cases at 1pm, I do a quick scan and see QCOM, oh my god what a chart!!! It's setting up, I'm ready to press the trigger, AIDAN!!! WHERE ARE YOU ?? COME ON!!! I had to leave the trade!!!

I love this profession!! George you've helped me so much, Mucho Gratis!!! Merci Beaucoup!! Hasta Bidante!! Terima Kassi!!! MANY THANKS!!!

I'm enjoying your tutelage so much. I've got good at keeping stop losses, so from now on I've a daily $500 stop loss on my self with a promise to keep all money under $500 profits once gained, and if I have a better day great and if I don t I still go home with green every day. Little by little!!

Have a great weekend George, if you ever question the value of what you're doing, please think of me because I can honestly say you've played and will play a major part in the well being of my family and I.

    Your friend, Aidan
  • Just wanted to thank you again for yesterday. If that was any preview of the sort of patient, articulate, astute teacher you are...man, I'm in for a hell of a good training process! I learned as much from your demeanor as I did from your actions. Fantastic. I'll probably pester you at least once a week until the In-house training program begins, just to keep myself in your sites and remind you that I've got that hungry tiger growling inside. I'm completely ready to soak up the knowledge. And for the tenth (but probably not last) time I reiterate the point that I would love to get into the Pristine Training room as soon as possible. Yesterday confirmed what I already suspected--just being in that environment has an amazing effect on a trader's learning curve. So please, let me know when something opens up.

In the meantime, happy trading to you. Today you'll probably be able to concentrate a bit more. I look forward to working with you.

    Peter K
  • Hi George,

Just a quick note to say thanks for a great day today. I experienced a major milestone in my life today and you're an inextricable part of it. I learned so much from you and you have set a high bar for me to aspire to achieve in professional courtesy and masterful trading.

You have a customer for life and if I can ever do anything to return the compliment, please ask and I'll gladly oblige.

I wish you every success with your trading.

    Good luck and good wishes

    Aidan
  • I wanted to thank YOU for everything you've done for me in the last few weeks. I learned more in the last 23 days about trading and life than I had in the previous 5 years thanks to you... and I am eternally grateful. It is an absolute pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to work side-by-side with someone of your caliber and stature. Believe me when I say this....you are one of the most incredible people I have ever met in my life.

    Peter
  • Hi Greg,

I have spent the last few weeks since the E-Minis Trading Lab just focused on what you had taught us and I must say you have pretty much nailed it on the head. Your knowledge on the subject and your ability to read and interpret charts goes far beyond what I ever expected to learn from this mentorship. There are very few good traders out there and even fewer who have the patience to teach what they know, you truly are a Master Trader.

    Thank you so much.

    Dave H.
  • Dear Greg,

I would like to express my gratitude for your E-Mini Trading Lab. You went above and beyond an educator and showed us with patience and generosity your professional trading knowledge. It was very valuable and it really put into practice a lot of the prior Pristine education. Sharing all of your helpful personally developed indicators is a tremendous asset to put the odds in favor of picking up profitable trades. Thank you again and keep up the good work.

    Regards, Kasra P.
  • Hi Greg,

I just wanted to thank you again for the online emini mentorship last week. After having taken TPM-2 from you and learning a great deal in that process, I wanted a chance to be able to observe the market and learn from you in real-time to really solidify my understanding of the concepts in a way that is not possible in a seminar. I feel like I now finally have the whole picture, so to speak. I definitely have a much better idea of high odds short-term plays, reasonable targets and expectations, and just what I should be looking for and doing everyday in my microtrading. I feel that the experience was great and well worth the price and time invested. Although I know I need more practice and am going to take it slow, I am really looking forward to the process of microtrading over the coming months. For the first time, I really believe deep down that if I am patient and stick to the plan, I will definitely be able to generate enough income to make a living trading full time. Thank you so much for that.

    Neil B.
  • Greg,

Since your internet version of the Private Mentorship for the DOW futures I have a complete new outlook on all markets. I can not express the value of the Private Mentorship and the time with you. This Private Mentorship has brought together all of my prior Pristine training. I feel very comfortable with my knowledge of the markets. Thanks for changing my life.

Let me know if I can ever return the favor.

    Best regards,

    Ken L.
  • I just wanted to write a quick note to give Kudos to Avery Meizner. I recently completed a 5-session coaching program (on Gap Trading the open) with him and I must say that it has made a remarkable difference in putting some of the pieces of the "trading puzzle" together for me.

A lot of this (Pristine) material has gone over my head the 1st, 2nd and even 3rd time I've heard it in the PMTR, but the tenacity and patience that Avery has to continue driving home the concepts of trading - and the psychology behind it all - has accelerated my learning tremendously. And his willingness to continue *my* education through e-mail feedback is invaluable.

Well, that's it. Just a quick note to say that I surely learned (and continue to learn) a lot from Avery. Keep him around! :)

    Sincerely, David B.
  • Hi Avery

Can't tell you how much I'm learning from the Gap Class and in the Trading Room. Every day I experience more than one "A HA...I GET IT!" What great teachers/mentors you are. Pristine is lucky to have you both.

I really find your weekly ESP "lessons" great. Have a notebook of them and review them whenever I can find the time. Right now our lives are filled with Pristine...Your classes, nine DVDs, the PMTR, daily info from the website, Tools and Tactics book, after market lectures, and Pristine View reads and rereads.

Ever since we took TPM I we have been committed to Pristine. Like many other folks, I wish I had been introduced before I spent all those years learning and struggling with a myriad of indicators that had my charts looking like Boston surface road traffic jams during the Big Dig. What a mess and no clear or consistent pattern!

Thanks for your stock comments today too. I did make a little bit of paper money, but on a "bad" trade. So I added that trade to my diminishing, but still too frequent "bad trades file." I keep the bad trade cards at my desk and review them during the doldrums. What's neat is how much more often now I can ask myself with real disbelief-- "Now why on earth did I do THAT?"

From the trading room I'm also learning the importance of a trading plan focus. I have the share sizing and everything else I learned from TPM I and DVD but I included way too many patterns and set ups.

There's a fairly recent PBS mystery series on Saturday night called New Tricks--about 3 old-school detectives who are back working on cold cases. We think it's quite good and funny too. But most of all it reminds me there's hope for this old new trader!

See you in the room tomorrow and at Gap Class Saturday.

    Bobbi
  • Greg,

I can't thank you enough for the mentorship week. I told my wife after day 1, "I already got my money's worth." I learned many new concepts, plus greatly reinforced what was learned in previous classes. I can't wait to put it all to work, especially the new software tools.

    Thanks again, Jim W.
  • I have really enjoyed the coaching; in fact it has really been revolutionary. The stock market has so many facets, conditions, people, circumstances, etc. As a trader begins and continues on the journey to make his way thru the maze of learning how to trade, coaching helps eliminate the things that really are not a priority. That is where your experience as a coach proves invaluable. In one comment, you can help a trader narrow his focus and prevent him from having to spend years in the learning curve. You have done these things for me Jai, and I appreciate it.

I am looking forward to the class on Sat.

    Blessings, Mark B.
  • Excellent closing statements! Your comments continue to be further proof that the folks at Pristine truly are interested in helping guys like me. Very touching, indeed. Thanks for your support. It's nice to know that I am more knowledgeable than the Goldman Sachs market makers, even though it is easy to think the other way around!

People were stunned when I left Smith Barney earlier this year (to attempt this new career)....(they were stunned when I left Merrill in 1999 as well to move to SB). As such, I have been wrestling with my personal psychology over the last 2 months or so....and it's nice toknow that with help from you, my courage continues to build. I hope you don't mind my humor comments during the sessions....gotta have humor.

    Thanks, Ben P.
  • Avery,

Once in the PMTR you seemed a little surprised when I praised your gap coaching webinars. This morning was a reminder of just how good the training was. Look at CMX for today. I quickly nailed it for about $2/share (with thousands of shares involved), and again within a half an hour or so for about another $0.60/share (again with large share size). I could not have done this without your coaching sessions.

I learned to make money playing gaps in the summer of 2004, before any involvement with Pristine. After this, I could consistently make pretty good money with gap plays. The point be that your coaching took me to a new, much higher level. So when praise was previously given in the PMTR, I knew what I was talking about, having a basis for comparison. The small investment in your gap coaching has already been repayed more times than can be counted.

So once again, a sincere thank you is offered for sharing the valuable information.

Best of luck in your trading, and other future endeavors.
    James B.
  • The seminar gave me more confidence about trading the e-minis. I feel that taking this seminar was a wise investment decision.

    Robin P.
  • I signed up for a 10 week coaching session with and it was remarkable. My positive trades increased to 50% and I made back all of my previous losses. He taught me how to incorporate market internals, assess S/R and Targets more accuarately, consider relative strength/weakness and recognizing quality set ups. I have the utmost respect for your educational resources and felt you should know this. I intend to continue utilizing your educational program as I can't imagine learning to be an effective trader without it.

    Kindly, Bill M.
  • You are my good luck charm. This week, between being long on Pcu, and short on BBBY,QQQQ,EBAY,and CC, life is good. I'll be looking closely at SU, SLB, and MER short depending on market internals and the right entry points. I owe this all to you.

    Thanks, Bill M.
  • The trade management approach is a strength of the program, along with the disciplined trading methodology being taught. I found the two unit methodology (i.e. - position trade and scalp trade) particularly helpful.

    Michael M.
  • If you like the day trading action, yet find it challenging to do so with stocks, then e-mini futures trading is for you. Before coming to this mentorship I had never traded the e-minis, yet in just a few days I felt totally comfortable and pretty sure this was a trading instrument for me. Thank you for sharing with us your experience and knowledge and your crystal clear tactics on how and when to trade the e-minis. Looking forward to putting all that know-how into practice and profitability!

    Sylviane D. V.
  • If you are interested in e-mini trading and have a background in Pristine methodology, this is the course to take.

    Bill W.
  • I wanted to tell you that I think the few coaching sessions we have had were great. I like your attention to fine detail and helping me understand the routine I must get into before I make a trade. Certainly having taken TPM1/2 enables us to focus on refinement instead of basics. You are helping me be able to assess a trade in multiple time frames and assess risk, which I couldn't do before. In just a few weeks, I have increased my trrades from 30% winners to 60%, although I have far less trades now. I am excited about our continued work together.

    Thanks, Bill M.
  • Andy, As we finish my first block of Coaching, I wanted to share with you some of my realizations since we started working together. Before I start into what I learned in terms of trading, I must say that being coached is one of the best things that have happened to me in years. I’ve told you this before, but it feels like I get exponentially more for my time and money than even I did with the life-altering TPM1 and TPM2 workshops. This is mostly due to the power of individualized attention for my own particular issues, and this has put me on a growth curve that I never expected. This is a wonderful thing, and I definitely want to continue.

When I first asked to you coach me, I could see that trading was more difficult than I had originally expected, and that there was a lot to learn. There were so many subjects that could engulf hours, evenings, or entire weekends, that I wanted a structure to the process so that I would be on the best track possible. I could only afford a certain window of time to become consistently profitable, and it was obvious to me after struggling for several months that having the guidance of a “master trader” would shorten this critical developmental period and by teaching healthy habits early on, be the difference between my ultimate success or failure.

After ten weeks, I have grown so far from the trader that I used to be, that it is actually a bit staggering to look back. We created a trading plan, which is expanding with new realizations and corresponding tactics. We’ve worked on the fundamental routines and habits, and these together with the trading plan have helped me change from a reactionary market participant to a trader who approaches the day centered and ready to respond effectively to market events. I have a thorough pre-market plan that guides me to appropriate strategies early in the day, rather than while or after they happen. This is a huge difference from the trader I was just a few short months ago. I can now calmly wait for high probability trades to setup, and determine if they are right for me, given the current market environment, and my specific money management rules.

Occasionally it has been frustrating to see the high-risk pattern that I used to mess with go for a triple or homerun. There have been times that I needed to walk away to remember that I was being reprogrammed away from destructive, even addictive behavior, and toward new thinking that would help ensure my longevity as a trader. This has already led to the beginnings of what is vastly more important and satisfying than an occasional big hit, that of consistently profitable results. A foundation of proper thinking and healthy habits already has made a difference, how exciting to think of where this transformation is leading.

    Ray P
  • I want to thank you for all your teaching and guidance. Thank you so much for the informative week of mentorship. Although I still do not see a lot of what you see, I think I learned to make some of the interpretations that you do. I am committed to gaining the ability to see a lot of what you do. I think the mentorship was one of the most valuable experiences I have had yet in my development as a trader. It has been a great help to me and I look forward to building on this foundation and becoming a really competent and successful trader in the future.

    Eugene S.
  • Having known the instructor of the TPM1 and the Trading Management Seminars as well as the Trading Lab, I had a high expectation of the e-mini mentorship program. Actually this program greatly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was very well organized and every day of it was full of well thought and clear structured instruction and information. Invaluable and very well structured techniques and insight for trading e-mini futures. Absolutely can save months of trial and error. A real jump start, with clear guidelines to be a successful trader.

    Kasra P.
  • The experience was very insightful and educational. Aron was very patient and always willing to take time away from his own trading to help the students with any questions. Overall I would give it an A+. I definitely feel that I am more knowledgeable about the subject matter after this week. The mentor helped me realize my errors in trading and helped me to break bad habits. I just hope I will continue to be as disciplined as when I was here.

    Kenneth L
  • I appreciate the time you took to during your class to meet with me. It was VERY enlightening. During my visit, you asked me what I thought was wrong with my trading, and I wasn't able to answer you at the time, but it was obvious by the time I left: I can't manage my trades like you guys can..my stops are all in the wrong spot..my timing is too slow...my trading tools are inadequate...I think too much and don't react. Wonderful what an hour can do, huh?

You guys can drive a ferrari, whereas I'm still trying to get out of first gear. I plan to take the 2-week Trading Lab early next year to get the education I need. In the meantime, I signed up for Pristine bronze, which is really my speed. I have no business trying to trade intraday at the moment. I can't thank you enough for letting me visit your class and speak to your students. It was invaluable. I have confidence to reach my goals now, since you gave me perspective on what was missing. If you get a chance, pass on my thanks to them too.

    Roger
  • Aron did an excellent job in monitoring my progress and making sure I had an understanding of all concepts covered. He did a great job of referring back to the "trading list" of things to do when entering (before and during) a trade. I should be able to limit many of the bad habits I'd picked up over the past two months. Overall the mentorship was excellent.

    Robert B
  • I just finished up a week of mentorship in Irvine. This really helped me to put everything together. My confidence is increased by 500%! You've got a super company and super staff!

    Regards, Ona

  • It was excellent, truly a great way to gain in one week, the knowledge that a lot of trading (losses) would provide. Aron has a wonderful grasp of the whole market and trading domain. He was outstanding in his grasp of the big picture. My feel for balancing the market conditions to my trading plan is up from zero to very good. I wish I had one more week spend with Aron doing real trades!

    Bob R.
  • The class was very informative. Overall the experience was extremely productive. Aron was very good at teaching us the Pristine Method. He got the points across very clearly, especially the important points. I would recommend Aron as a mentor, especially if you are starting out as a full time trader. It will help you move to the next level.

    Chris T
  • Aron is very knowledgeable of the subject matter, but his trading skills and poise are extremely helpful for his tutorees. The opportunity to share time with a trader provides you with so much additional knowledge. Hands-on can rarely be surpassed by text book learning. The saying "a picture is worth a thousand words," applies to this past week with Aron.

    Alfonso
  • We walked away with a much greater understanding of the Pristine System as well as what to, and not to, focus on. Good confirmation of what we've been doing and the direction we are going. He tied up the loose ends and gaps in our style and gave us a "blueprint" to become Master Traders - Excellent!  Aron is great.

    Kevin
  • Aron's ability to convey the technical analysis in 3-D vs.one dimensionally, has really brought the market "to life". I feel I have a much better sense of "timing" a trade with other dynamics within the market. Aron had a strong command of the material as well as the presentation of it - He also asked strong questions to make sure we took the most out of the experience.

    Barb
  • Hi. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed last week's Pristine Evening Mentorship class. Sam and Craig did a great job presenting the Pristine trading principles and it was thoroughly enjoyable sharing my experiences with the others in the class and benefiting from their experiences as well. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have attended. Already I can see a difference in myself, in terms of how I'm approaching the market- not being afraid of it, but instead trying to play with it, rather than against it. There's clearly no winning when you try to beat the market, that's for sure. But in watching the major indexes and making proper use of moving averages and other corroborating criteria, I feel I have really matured in the way I am approaching things.

    Sincerely, Richard H
  • Craig and Sam:

Just wanted to thank you both once again for the stellar job you did this past week. The seminar exceeded my expectations and the information and techniques I now have are worth their weight in gold. Great work!

    Ronnie R.
  • Hi Ron, I just wanted to tell you I have learned more in the past 4 coaching sessions that all of the rest I have read in TPM 1 & 2, you are one heck of a good teacher.

    Thanks Again, Gary D.
  • Pristine Web Site

    Greg,

After experiencing the dark side of the trading education world I was reluctant to trust any firm. It took a lot for me to sign up with Pristine but I felt it was different this time so I went with my gut and thank God. Your passion and method speaks for itself. Pristine has shown me the light and I'm very excited about the new and improved Pristine. Thank you for everything.

    Jeff D.
  • Re: April 13, 2007 Option Lesson Of The Week

This is an excellent comprehensive lesson. I hope all that receive it appreciate it. I do.

I took a $3,000 course several years ago and they did not explain it in the simple easy to understand form that you did. I've done many options like this since then. Love selling vs buying.

    Thanks,

    Mike M.
  • Great Option Lesson Of The Week. Please let me know when you plan to teach a course. And yes, I never understood how anyone could play options without understanding the underlying stock.

    Reiner G.
  • As a Pristine student, I have found all of your articles to be very educational. Even though I have already taken TPM I, I continue to learn a lot from your articles mainly because you serve to improve my analysis, my trading and my confidence to trade.

    Thanks,

    Alejandro A. M.
  • Your website is entirely too awesome. plus the email updates. Why do you give out so much free information and help? Is it to empower us against the major market movers? I imagine you sell a lot of ancillary materials, but the stock plays of the week, etc. are fantastic. The net result being I feel with a little more preparation, I am very excited to start daytrading on a part time basis.

    Aaron H.
  • I have had more time just to perambulate through the site and it's many facets (I subscribed to Pristine Gold). Many sites have large or huge amounts of data which often serve to bore and frustrate rather than satisfy and inform, but yours has a true wealth of information. Having been to two seminars hosted by you I am acutely aware of the singular class of the Pristine organization which is impressive enough standing alone. But the simple thoughtfulness of the arrangement of the site evokes a state of wonder. I liken it to staying at a five star hotel where by the time your first realize that you are bit tired you notice that the bed has been turned down and a morsel of chocolate is poised on the pillow as if it had grown there.

    Joseph F.
  • I really appreciate the quality of Pristine web site and the very educational 'hands-on' email lessons. I am a beginning DT( 2 years) I look forward to your weekly lessons and research. I love to attend a seminar- especially if they were held in Canada. My friends in Australia also follow the lessons. Thanks for the no hype, no BS discussions

  • Traders, this is the quintessential service provider for education, trading strategies, picks, and get this, live, real time alerts. Yes, live, real time trading alerts. And what's more, even novice traders who haven't figured out yet that you get what you pay for will surely have to agree that the fees charged by Pristine.com for their services are very reasonable and quite competitive. Yes, while the site offers some incredible free services of which you should avail yourself each day, this is a for profit site. A workman is worthy of his hire. I do not hesitate to pay an honest, hardworking workman for his efforts.

NOTE: You can have one week free run of the site, including premiere services by simply registering. I took the one week test drive, and I stayed, picking the services that matched my trading style the best.

From the moment you enter the site, you will find yourself immersed in a world of information that is neatly and logically organized. The understated elegance of the page layouts makes for quick and clean navigation.

You will find a variety of free services as well as fee-based services. I have tried all of them, and I can highly recommend them. Let me take just a moment and give you the highlights of what I currently use and how it may benefit you.

    * Pristine Lite Daily - A single stock chart delivered to your e-mail in PDF format each day with clear and easy to understand trading strategy, from set up, to entry, to stop loss, to trade target. Those of you who used to trade from my Morning Call picks will find the strategies, setups, and plays to be very familiar and comfortable. How do they stack up? I've been trading them for the past month. No one is losing weight around here. An excellent value for $19.95 monthly.

    * Pristine Day Trader - Four stock picks with charts delivered to your e-mail in PDF format each day with a brief overview of the market or a lesson or thought for the day. Each pick is setup clearly, the strategy named (not clearly explained since these are mostly basic long and short plays from trendlines and moving averages with candlestick confirmation; the strategies are explained elsewhere in the Day Trader's subscriber area), and the entries, stops, and targets are spelled out. Again, these will be very comfortable and familiar to Morning Call traders. The price for this service is a fair amount, $125 monthly, but well worth it in my opinion.

    * Pristine ESP - Oh my goodness, what a great piece of software. This live real time alerts software is worth its weight in gold. I use the Swing Trader and Day Trader modules activated. From the moment the market opens, you receive real time alerts of stocks making new highs, new lows, 40 day moving average breakouts, etc. As you add modules, more alerts are sent. You can test drive the free version with limited alerts or you can subscribe to the more in depth alerting available for Swing Traders or for Day Traders. Honestly, unless you have a very strong trading background and the ability to instantaneously execute trades through an ECN or on the SOES, I would stay away from trying to play the Day Trader picks. If you have to ask what ECN or SOES stand for, you need to wait and use just the Basic and Swing Trader modules.

    Free Services:

    * Stock Chart of the Week - A great technical analysis training tool, showing you an impending set up and how to trade it properly.

    * Stock Play of the Week - One trade, similar to the daily Pristine Lite picks, which discusses a trade from setup, to entry, to stop loss, to target in one, clean presentation. Even if the trade doesn't pan out, and they don't always pan out, you will learn how to properly set up, execute, and manage a swing trade.

    * Weekly Columns - the wealth of information available here is wonderful, for veteran and novice alike. Want to speed up your learning curve? There's only one way. Hang around the pros who are doing what you want to do. Yes, hang around with me, but I've also harped until I'm blue in the face that you need to get your information from a variety of sources. An excellent selection is just a few mouse clicks away.

    * Educational Reports - Free strategies to help your trading in key situations. Definitely worth the time to read and learn. Just a note. For those of you who are new to trading, you will want to take the time to go through the more in depth educational services available to you from Pristine.com. I paid a high tuition to be still alive and prospering in
the markets. I paid it in losses. One way or the other, the market will exact its tuition from you. Books are great, videos are often better, but live hands on training is a must. Think of the time and tuition required to become a CPA, attorney, doctor, or any other highly paid professional. Doesn't it make sense that maybe you might have to invest in some education to play the trading game well? I did. Much more than I should have.

The rewards of trading are incredible. Nowhere can you find such complete freedom in earning your living or in advancing toward your retirement should you choose to remain in your regular job. Treat this wealth creation technique with respect. Learn it. Live it. It will treat you kindly in return and give you a life you may have only dreamed of having.

The wise learn from the mistakes of others...how wise are you?

In short, I now can relax about the traders I had to abandon when my health took away my ability to write to you daily. I gladly recommend Pristine.com as my replacement.

  • I did not sleep last night. My eyes were glued to Pristine's web site. I was going from one page to the other in awe of the meticulous richness of its content. What a window to the limitless universe of knowledge and information. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. You and Greg are amazing! How can you top it? What's next?

I am honored to follow, learn and associate with both of you for the last 5 years. How can I ever repay?

This is Brian R. ("hockey4"). I am VERY glad that I signed up for Options Suite! Today's session alone I know will already improve my options trading. You see, while I've been doing a lot of the same strategies you teach, I haven't been utilizing the risk management strategies you were talking about today. What I tend to do with my trades are kind of "all-or-nothing" approaches. Either my one spread position makes money and I close out or it's losing some money and I close out. I haven't been adding additional spreads like you were showing us today with the IBM 95 Put Calendar spread. What a difference this type of knowledge is going to make!

Also, you calmed my fears about not being able to execute and follow the Option Room's trades. Between the Intraday Updates page on the website and being able to sit in on at least one of your chat room sessions each week, I think I'll be able to execute/manage the trades just fine.

I'll be talkin' to ya more in the days to come.

    Thanks again,

    Brian R.("hockey4")
  • Mr. Capra,

I purchased your DVD series and WOW, I am blown away by the amount of information that is contained on the individual subjects. I was anxiously waiting for these DVD's and knew that anything Pristine has to offer is well worth it, especially if it's from you personally. I was well enlightened by your Candlesticks analysis and how you make chart reading actually make sense and enjoyable. To me, your Market Internals DVD is the bread and butter of your series. I now realize how important the market internals are to the overall picture of trading. I have not gone over the other DVD yet but so far you have done a fantastic job on your presentation and I'm sure that the Inter Market analysis will be just as enlightening. Have your heard the phrase "you get what you pay for"? Well in this case I got over and above what I paid for.

    Thanks for all your help

    Bijan M.
  • Thank you for your very helpful Trading lesson of the Week on Failures that make money.

I have purchased Greg Capra's DVD on Candlestick Analysis and am going through it and what you taught in your article reinforces what is said there.

Your article is very informative and a good learning for me. Thanks and appreciate it very much.

    Kind regards,

    Nigel D.
  • My name is John and I have taken the Trading the Pristine Method® - Part I (TPM1) with Simon Brad and Trading the Pristine Method® - Part II (TPM2) with Greg Capra. Recently I have purchased your 2 DVD set (Creating and Using a Trading Plan, and Seven Steps to a Good Trade). I wanted to let you know that I think these are really outstanding, especially the trading plan concepts.

I have been paper trading for about 6 months (since I took the TPM2) and believe that I now have a good feeling and understanding for TA. Upon reviewing your DVD it really hit me what I was missing and just how important having and following my trading plan is.

I have taken your advice and spent a week to really force myself to detail out my trading plan (I have had a trading plan for months, but not with great detail, nor had I been following it with discipline).

I am now forcing myself to follow my plan no matter how I may feel (i.e. bullish or bearish). Its quite remarkable how this has not only improved my ratios, but has taken so much of the apprehension out of the game.

I thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

    Sincerely,

    John A.
  • Greg –

Awesome seminars yesterday – thank you! I removed all of the indicators from my charts this morning, and with the help of Ken Guynes (fellow PMTR trader), I have my Tradestation workspace populated with the market internals. I found my self almost pulling the trigger on a couple of trades this morning, then remembered the internals – took a look, and sure enough, the internals were not in line with my strategy. Minutes later, the stocks retraced and would have resulted in losses.

Also, I have been in the PMTR for a couple of months now – I believe right after the conversion to the new format. Avery is awesome – I have learned a lot from him. Susie too. I also find myself laughing out loud at some of his humor. I find it easy to ask him any "dumb" question – he provides a tremendous amount of education on the Pristine trading methods every day. His gap seminar was great as well.

It's my plan to meet you soon at a TPM II. I'm hanging on by a thread – I've been at this for a couple of years, and was close to hanging it up. But I am now hitting some "singles", and I see light at the end of the tunnel. I am now confident, more than ever, that I will be able to make a career out of trading (thanks to Pristine!). I truly love what I am doing – especially when I think I am finally learning to trade the "right way".

Anyway – thanks again – looking forward to your new DVD series.

    Best Regards -

    Herb S.
  • Dallas and I want to thank you for the opportunity to beta test the Stock Tracking Assistant. It's a marvelous program. The data collection you have created does indeed provide a tracking outcome for the trader.

We believe this is an excellent tracking system. We've not seen anything like it. Many beginners (and experienced) have no idea how to track their trading, and this does the job for them and of great importance, shows them their performance.

Of all the companies we've come across, Pristine is the only one we've seen that is really interested in helping and nudging their students along. And with this tracking system, you've profoundly rounded out the program. Bravo! And thanks for the opportunity for the sneak preview and experience The Pristine Portfolio Manager.

    Sincerely, Bev and Dallas
  • Refering to: Pristine Professional Scanning Network (PPSN)

Last week I made the best trade of my life. I made over $ 29,000 in a couple of days. I purchased 1000 shares of AQNT based on its chart. I had no idea Microsoft would buy them out.

    Have a great day.

    Rocco P.
  • After purchasing and viewing your Breakout DVD, I reviewed 94 of my previous swing trades from which 35 of them were a total loss and realized that I would never have taken 22 of those losing trades had I just followed your simple explanation of buying the pull back or +123 from a tight BO play. I would be thousands of dollars ahead instead of being negative right now. WOW! Thank you so much for your help.

    Bijan M.
  • Greg, Thanks for the session. I paid for my 3 month subscription from the E-Mini Trading Room ideas today.

    Neil H.
  • I promise I won't make a habit of this (you must get quite a bit of mail) but after seeing the newsletter and after the week I had I wanted to share. I had my best but more important my most consistent week so far. I did 41 trades (15 were shorts) and was up every day with a .61 batting average and a 2.31 Sharp ratio. About half were my own although many of these came from your watch list.

This week I will NOT be increasing my risk amount or number of trades and will guard against any over-confidence. I will be focusing on not getting shaken out of good trades early. This was my biggest fault last week which of course I know from studying all my charts at the end of each day.

    Happy trading, Dave H.
  • I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the recent trading lesson. Elucidating as always.

Most importantly, I really wish to express my gratitude and joy at the astounding depth and value you have brought to aspiring traders via your two recent DVDs. I had been laid up with a nasty flu lately and used the downtime for my first (I'm sure of many) viewing of your new offerings. I was absolutely astonished at how much content you cogently organized, orchestrated and deftly communicated during these programs. I simply couldn't believe the breadth and depth of the value-added content.

It feels something like "highway robbery" to be able to purchase such quality program content at such nominal prices! In my personal foray into trading over the last two years, I have accumulated a somewhat extensive library of trading program offerings on DVD -- nothing, simply nothing, compares to Pristine's comprehensive offerings by Pristine.

Pristine is certainly the Rolls Royce (I like the image of a Bentley!) of the professional trading education industry.

I am looking forward to carving out the time to finally attend TPM 1 & 2 this year and also hope to attend the Managing Your Trading Business seminar.

All warm best and thanks to all your associates and production staff,

    George J. N.
  • I continuously study your DVD's and as A Pristine Trained Trader I am well aware of its entry/exit points. I have a small universe of highly traded stocks and exclusively trade options on them. You know what's funny, since I took your course I trade all three phases of the day. With your book and courses, it seems like I have a crystal ball of what is going on. I look forward to taking the Trading Lab Part I.

    Thanks again, Pete S.
  • Thanks for introducing the Option Lesson of the Week. Prior to that first publication I had never dealt with options. Always afraid; never understanding anything about options. Read, listened to people and...nothing.

The OLTW was able to make things clear for me and since that first introduction, I have been able to capitalize on options anywhere from 50% intra-day gain to up to 600% gain across 7-9 days. Great way to make an income. I play mostly out-of-the-money but by using the technicals I've learned across the years with the pristine education through newsletters and seminars on dvd/cd.

Anyways, I am a TD/Ameritrade customer and am planning to move to MasterTrader.com (have already submitted applications and just about ready).

    Sincerely, Jose L.
  • To any guests that are considering Pristine as a way to learn how to trade; I have been following them for over 6 years and I personally believe that there is no better option out there. Each and every one of the moderators are the best at what they do. Money spent with this company is the best money you can spend for an education in trading. You are the best teacher that not only teach but can do what they teach. If you fail with Pristine it is your own demons and problems that cause it.
    Tony S.
  • If any truth about the market is to be learned, all you need to do is read the Bandwagon Theory in the book, Tools and Tactics For The Master Day Trader. That is what sold me on Pristine; along with the rest of the honesty in all sections including a description earlier experience trading. I have used their different DVDs and Services and have learned from everyone of them and am now truly grateful for The E-Mini's Trading Room.
    Harvey P.
  • I am very impressed and overwhelmed. Pristine is the GREATEST and I am not afraid to tell anyone.

I appreciate what you are doing for me.

    John F K.
  • Over the past four months I purchased and read over 15 very good books on investing, including "Tools & Tactics for the Master Day Trader". Thank God I found that book. The other books were very informative. I learned a lot from them. But "Tools & Tactics" was exceptional.

    Bob O.
  • I just want to thank you for your "Trading Lesson of the Week", they are short, easy to understand, and reinforce so many basic ideas that are priceless yet so easy to forget or ignore. "Relative Strength At Reversal Time" from March 8 was an excellent article, very common and usable case with quite a few of basic ideas covered. Reviewing these basics over and over again is very useful since we all know that "repetition is the mother of skill, skill is the mother of creativity".

    Thanks you again.

    Stan B.
  • I had been looking for Guerrilla set ups by plowing through charts at the e/o day (which was very time consuming) - and then I tried out ESP for the first time a couple of weeks ago and WOW - I don't know why it took me so long since TPM 1 to try this service out - talk about a value added service - its just dynamite.

I've had approximately half a dozen good solid winners during my ESP trial period.  I just love taking the  Bullish 20/20 plays that are way oversold and under both their MA-20 & 200 on the daily with some other confirmation that the bottom has been put in (PBS, double bottom , COG etc ) I've  gotten in and out of some good  Risk / Reward plays on FDG and  HDBon this play.  I'm currently long on CNX & SWN which were called out by ESP as Bullish 20/20 plays on Friday and both are in the money.  I also shorted FAST on Friday morning - it looked way over extended on the MA-20 on the daily & hourly (but still above the MA-20 on 5min) with my stop just above the high - hopefully some downside to the $75 area.

I just wanted to thank you again for sharing your knowledge. Without a doubt worth 100 times the price and I know there is nothing out there like it and glad I got the opportunity to participate. I now have a sense of calm and confidence I've never had before. This couldn't have come along at a better time in my development as a trader. All of the info is still sinking in and I still can't believe how much was covered in such a short period of time. This, without question, is the best thing I've ever taken.

    Thanks again.

  • Referring to: Pristine's Trading Lesson of the Week

"Consolidations Part 2" was one of the best trading articles I have read. Your analyses are profound in their simplicity. The mark of a great article is that it leaves the student with the "Of course this is true. It makes perfect sense. How could I have thought of it any other way. Duh?" feeling. Don't waste your time replying to this. Just keep churning out foundational articles.

    Merry Christmas.

    Henry J.
  • Just finished listening to another terrific radio show. I just wanted to follow up and offer you my sincere appreciation and thanks for your follow up response to my question...It was very helpful! I understand why your company is so successful. It is your sincere commitment to helping traders become successful and for that I am very grateful to you and your company. Thank You very much again!!!

Best wishes to you for your continued success!!!

    Regards, George H.
  • The other day my wife and I were discussing trading, and she asked me that, instead of spending so much money on trading classes, wouldn't I rather have all that much more money in my trading account. I do spend a bit on my education, having taken TPM 1, the Two Week Trading Lab, with (for me) it's requisite two week hotel stay, TPM 2 twice, the Advanced Trading Lab, and am getting ready to live in a hotel in Irvine while I do a month-long Pristine in-house trader program, as well as the Market Internals class and a third re-take of TPM 2. We are not wealthy, so for us this is a considerable sum of money. My reply to her was that I'd rather have a smaller amount in our trading account, and the knowledge and skills necessary to make that account grow, than a larger amount that I could just blunder away. I feel that I will pay for my education one way or another; either I give it to the market, or to a quality company such as Pristine. I choose the latter, as I feel it then gives me leverage with the money I have left. Thankfully, my wife is a smart woman, and saw the wisdom in what I was saying.

Thanks again Bill for a great class.

    All the best, Ed B.
  • I haven't communicated much in the last several months, but wanted to say I continue to enjoy and appreciate your articles. This latest on profit targets was right on target, excuse the pun. I have been actively trading gaps including the guerilla plays with great success and targets are a big part of my trading plan.

Just thought I would let you know that the brief time I spent in your trading room was invaluable and gave me the tools to put together all the education from TPM1&2. Thanks for all the great trading insight. You and all of the other PTT's such as Greg have made a significant difference in my trading and the pleasure I get from doing it every day.

    Jeff S.
  • To me your daily commentary in Core Trader is one of the most outstanding services Pristine offers. It's become my daily foundation, even though I'm more of a shorter term trader. Your very clear writing style is always refreshing. I find it a rare writer than clearly and precisely can explain what they mean while keeping a rather informal tone and sometimes humorous tone. Thanks.

    Take care,

    Hal M.
  • First, let me thank you for your daily commentary on the markets. You have made the new product worth the investment.

Again, thanks for the insightful morning lessons and keep up the good work.

    Frank C.
  • I wanted to give you a rave review about the new Core Trader. I am enjoying your writing immensely. It keeps me on track in the big picture, something I always had trouble with. In micro trading, I always tended to focus on the intraday charts and forget about they tendency the market may have.

The format is perfect for me: A small lesson, followed by analysis of the market. I hope to learn enough to transition full time trading over the next year or two. I work full time time but am able to watch the market most days. I have been at this for a year now, and it was a godsend to have the new Core Trader format.

Thanks again and keep up the great work,

    Roger
  • What wonderful and exciting learning opportunites. I'm like a boat without a sail trying to learn on my own. Tools and Tactics is a powerful book and has opened up new doors! Look forward to signing up.

    Thanks, Cindy M.
  • Referring to: Pristine’s Stock Play of the Week

I took a chance and short AGIX a little early only invested an amount I didn't mind putting up to risk. Thanks, made 5 times my money back; your charts are great.

  • Even though it "feels" like I have been trading for a million years, I have only been around the Pristine camp since 2000 when I took my first TPM1 seminar. Only since then have I grown as a trader, learning more and more from each segment and seminar (and god knows I've taken them all, several times.) I can certainly say it has been a fulfilling journey and by just being able to look back and still have the passion (and capital) to go on, tells me that I've chosen the correct road with Pristine.

Anyway, as I review what I have learned from the "top notch" instructors and traders over the years associated with Pristine, I can honestly say that you are the best of the best. Your style of writing is refreshing and your analysis of the market is straightforward and easy to understand. Also, your use of color with the charts and spreadsheets make for an easy to read page.

At first I was skeptical of the "additional charge" for the "New Core Trader" segment offering and was hesitant to pay it. Sure, the first newsletters that you released were full of good information and very detailed. "But just watch," I said to myself. "This guy can't keep this up day after day, there's just too much stuff here. This newsletter will end up as only a cursory overview that we can get for free anywhere on the web by any other pundit or talking head." But wow, was I wrong!

Your consistency of information and detail just "blows me away" on every issue. You continue to be terrific. Please don't stop now, you have our attention. Thank you. I now feel that the "Core Trader" is worth twice the price.

Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and writing expertise with us day after day. We're hooked.

    Regards, Reed D.
  • Your recent ability to see into the market and identify its likely actions has been uncanny! I really enjoy your insights as to the shorter-term analysis that you provide in these non core trading environments. Please continue to do this!

    -Michael T.
  • Excellent Pristine Core Trader today (as always).

I am absolutely thrilled with the nightly analysis you do. I use it to double check mine. Thank you for doing this. I joined the core trader for a whole year just for this 1 feature! Also, thanks for the opportunity to e-mail you. I know how busy you guys are and appreciate your time when I have a question!

    Thanks again,

    Bruce V.
  • New to Pristine and lovin it. Because of yesterday's lesson I made enough on one trade today to pay for your seminar. Looking forward to that. Wondered what would happen to ROOM after EXPE yesterday. Then I remembered your "truth doesn't matter lesson" no new's, so I checked the volumn and saw the sentiment. Set my buy for 30Min high and jumped in. It's still going up! Before finding pristine I've spent the last couple years waiting for breakouts which was the only thing I knew how to do.
    Ted S.
  • Excellent newsletter! I'm looking forward to your forthcoming articles about the three criteria for identifying market and/or sector industry group Hot Zones.

Thanks very much in advance for answering any of the listed questions. This newsletter is the best learning tool, in addition to IBD, I've seen so far.

    Best Regards,

    Chris G.
  • ...I want to add my special thanks for the book (Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader) they wrote and I had the fortune to find and read. Please tell them that they did change my way of thinking not only in the trading but even in my life. I will be always thankful to them about that.

    Mirko M. - Germany
  • Great job with the PCT newsletter! I signed up yesterday so I'm on board.

Just wanted to again say I'm learning a lot from your daily newsletter. Each night I do my own analysis using the same time frames you have been using and compare to your comments the next day. A good exercise and I'm actually getting it right. Imagine that! I really like your approach and want to learn all I can from you.

    Thanks for the ear.

Again, great job with the newsletter! My trading partner and I discuss it every morning. Sometimes we actually have had a similar discussion the night before and wonder if you are reading our minds.

    Jeff S.
  • Last week I finished my first read-through of Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader, upgraded from Pristine Swing Trader Lite to Pristine Silver, and watched and rewatched the Micro trading, Swing trading, and Intra-day trading videotapes. In 2 days I made enough to pay for the book, tapes, and 3 months of Silver. I can't thank you enough for beating it into your students to USE INTELLIGENT STOPS. The information you present so well makes perfect sense, but would never be formulated by most of us. I'm sure I am like many in that I had previously mindlessly assumed that the best (long) price was the lowest price. Of course,as you already know, this caused me to buy into some horrible breakdowns. Then I would watch unbelievingly, as my worst fears were realized.

Never again. Rather than trying to invent some arcane "system", you have dissected, observed, analyzed, and then explained the "system" that immutably exists. My confidence and decisiveness have improved significantly, and with my new knowledge, I now have a much better idea how little I know. I eagerly anticipate an opportunity to take a Seminar. Thanks again from a grateful student.

    Henry J.
  • Very impressed w/your calls in general. I have to say that reading your letter and having the benefit of your thinking really helps immensely. It provides a sane framework, then one can listen to one's hunches with perspective.

    Thank you.

    Jesse
  • Your service is fantastic! Due to my location I have not made a two day seminar yet, but I read everything (just about) you have published including Swing Trading video and Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader...they are great...to the point and no BS.

I have dabbled in options for a couple years, but never have sold puts very professionally. One of your educational documents was on selling puts like a pro. Here is a real life recent example you can share with others... EFII on 30 May 01 closed outside of the lower Bollinger Band after 8 consecutive days of drop. Then...sure enough...sell a put and hold three days maximum (Pristine Method). Look what happened. Four days of nice gains up before starting to correct, but Pristine people sell at 3 (don't be greedy!). Just follow the method after the proper set-up. Wow!

Keep up the good work..and I really want to come to a two-day, but Virginia is a long way away from your seminars. Have you every thought of On-Line Seminars?

    Ken S.
  • First, I'd like to say that the first day I used PPSN, I saved well over the price of my quarterly Silver membership. I jumped prematurely onto RFMD (didn't bail when Cisco announced) at 31.50. However, it was the first large-lot swing purchase - 400 shares - I had done and I decided to hold for a three point gain.

My account was down $1500 this afternoon and I almost sold...however I still had faith in this stock since the technicals still looked good and RFMD has been resilient over the past two days compared to AMCC and CIEN. The analysis you gave was close to what I had done earlier this evening...and now I feel good until next Wednesday still holding for 3-5 with some solid backing behind me :-) Oh and a special thanks to the new book "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader". I read it, started investing and am now up almost 140% in 4 weeks!

    Thank you,

    Colin R.
  • I'm yet another happy reader of the PCT. You used to give us the your old Strike Trader letter in the White Plains in-house room. Glad to see the PCT picked up where the Strike Trader left off.

    Happy trading (and writing).

    John B.
  • I signed up for a year of "The Pristine Swing Trader" today because I now believe, after using the service for 6 weeks, that I will still be trading in a year. I'm reading Tools & Tactics for the Master Day Trader. All this for the first time really has provided me with a sense of self control that was missing before finding Pristine. Anyway, just a few words of gratitude to all of you at Pristine for the good work you do.

    Aloha,

    Gary M., Hawaii
  • On Friday morning, I read the Wednesday weekly lesson on bullish/bearish mortgage plays. I then scanned ESP for pre-market downgappers. I located VTSS and PWAV. Guess what? They played out in textbook fashion. And any one of your students could have found it. Here is a great realtime example, as well as demonstration of the elegance of ESP to seek out great opportunity.

    Best, Alan
  • I am enjoying and learning a lot from your "Smarty Pants" lessons.

    Regards,

    Alvaro
  • Thanks for the help – as an aside –your response to my question was such a great thing. – why? I teach at Temple University and that is exactly the same approach I use with the students – I ask them questions as a way to have them get to the answer. They find that very frustrating because they want the answer. However, I feel that they only learn when they get the answer themselves – my philosophy about learning is “to learn is to discover” and I state in my syllabus for any course I teach that ”I am here to help you learn not to teach you”. So you can see why it was such a great thing to be able to experience from the other side what I have been teaching for so long. Just thought I would share that with you, and thanks again for helping me learn!

GREAT 11/8/04 newsletter! If you can believe it was going to ask you about moving the stop! Also, terrific critique of AW!

    Regards, Bob
  • I wish to congratulate you for a masterpiece accomplishment. When I joined PDT, I thought what a great service. You've made trading a great pleasure for the individual investor. Thank you.

  • New Core Trader is great.

    Thanks, David
  • I have been on this service for about one month. I am so pleased with the knowledge and understanding of the market I am receiving. Quite frankly, I honestly feel like I would be less likely to play in this environment without your direction and encouragement. Thank You.

    Don, Washington
  • I've been a subscriber to your newsletter for about a month and love it.

    Janet H.

  • I've read and re-read all the past logs and collected over 150 Pristine "Gems" addressing trading, market, discipline & psychology. Interestingly, studying my losses, I have found my major losses came from not knowing or following these "gems". I am thankful I now have mentors.

    Dev, New Jersey
  • Consigned to a Sisyphean trading nightmare"? Nice turn of phrase! Great trader and literary, too......PCT is still the first email I open every morning.

    Pam P.
  • Since you mentioned it in a recent PCT I've started drawing ines of support and resistance as well as patterns such as ascending and descending triangles etc... It's astonishing how well the market respects these lines. Very helpful.

Thought you might like to know.

  • I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the new Core Trader. It's a wonderful product.

    Thanks,

    Ted C.
  • Susie, for what it's worth, I scrolled throughout the history of the last 10 days, and came up with your rooms numbers. About 60% wins but more important, the wins were 5 times greater than the losses, Ridiculously KEWEL!!

    Michael H.
  • I reached an important internal milestone today that prompted me to send a thank you to the two of you for your able leadership of the ATR. Over the last two weeks, my net profit exceeded on a pro rata basis the non-stock compensation that I received from being the Chief Financial Officer of a NYSE company. Additionally as we near the midpoint of this year I have already reached the net profit that I had projected for all of 2006. I am certain that this new level of success is certainly attributable to your outstanding mentorship coupled with the excellent education provided by Pristine. I truly appreciate the educational emphasis that the two of you bring to each day of the ATR. Thanks again for all that you do.

    Larry W.
  • Just a note to say that before I came into the ATR I lost a lot of money. I am so glad I made the decision to come here.

Thank you for all your teachings/lessons/advice throughout the year.  I am learning a tremendous amount from you. Your plays and explanations have been an integral part towards my road to finally becoming a successful trader. Believe it or not your "pound the mouse" helped me tremendously to get over my unnecessary hesitations.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

    Arti N.
  • I am 'rockr' in the ATR. I took TPM1 & TPM2. A Pristine counselor was there much of the time and taught a section or two. I really appreciate how you run the room. I especially appreciate it when you take the time to explain things - as it helps me to gain a better understanding of what I have learned so far. I am thinking about repeating TPM2 in Chicago this July... Thanks for all you do,

    Roy D.
  • Thanks to Pristine and you fellas, I am up $45,000 so far this year...that's after commissions but not including margin interest.

    Pam B.
  • Just a short note to say how much the daily commentary by you & other Pristine counselors in the chat room is appreciated. Along w/ couple of others have recently moved over from another online chat room that was not managed nearly as professionally. Don’t need to be told what to do but having someone help analyze the technicals is hugely helpful.

  • I would like to thank you very much for everything in the past 9 months I was in this room. Honestly, from all trading knowledge I value "Pristine Methodologies" as a most useful, practical and easy to follow. And also Pristine works in any market environment! And you guys are GREAT TEACHERS, funny and have patience with all the "best in the world traders" (including myself). I promise you I will see you on Pristine refreshment seminars.

    Marek J.
  • I have been trading since '98...have been taking courses with Pristine for last 2 years....refreshers on both Trading the Pristine Method® seminars and Trading Lab....thankfully I am up almost $22,000 in the past 2 weeks...net! Thanks to all the good training and also the information that you and everyone in the room brings to the table, I am up big time....Boy, am I watching things like a hawk right now! Thanks for all your help!

    Pamela B.
  • You are one of the best teachers I have run across in this business. I have learned more since coming into ATR than at any point prior.

    Dick
  • Thanks for the great response. I really appreciate this coaching relationship, and not just "the benefits of your experiences" but the effort and consideration you put into it. I didn't say this, but in our last session when you began offering advice about the office, I was floored. I had been asking everyone close to me to give me some "hard" input on the topic. It was both surprising and comforting to recieve it, but I really didn't expect it. I'm really thankful for it, though. Your thoughts were some of the clearest and most thorough that I had been exposed to on any subject. Pretty cool. I got off the phone and raved about your advice and our session to my wife. Then I plowed alot harder into what I needed to accomplish.

    Ray
  • I have really enjoyed the last seven months in this room every day. You have taught me a great deal mostly through your talking with others. I still have some demons that I haven't licked so I am going to take some time away from the room and see if I can focus on my trading flaws and resolve if I can actually make it as a full time trader. You are terrific leaders for the room and I hope you continue to do it as I fully intend to solve my problems and then return for more learning. Thank you for answering all my questions it has been most helpful...

    Jack L.
  • I have been trading 29 years (almost 21 as my vocation). Have followed your trading room for months. I have never written a letter of recommendation to an advisory service. I am a very difficult client. very demanding. Anyway, I couldn't be more impressed. You all have worked extremely hard in his business of helping other traders, and has weathered the storm and shown himself to be an extraordinary trader in the process. Congratulations...great work!
    Bob L.
  • Just wanted to drop you note about your advanced trading room activities. I am a very active trader and for the last one year and costumer of pristine.com with few services. For the last 10 days , I spent 7 hours a day with your trading room and wanted you to know few things:
You are really doing great job there. It is really an educational time for traders to monitor and follow your activities. The way you handle multiple positions at the same time, drop educational notes, and still have time to answer novice and savvy questions is real impressive. After I spent so much time looking for my ultimate educational methodology, I can't even tell you how grateful I am for what you are doing here.
    Natan D.
  • I just recently joined your Pristine Advanced Trading Room online services and I wanted to extend my appreciation and satisfaction for your services. I have been trading stocks online for approximately one year. I have used other services without receiving the satisfaction that I have had with your services. Since the time that I began using your services I have experienced a much higher success rate in my trading activities. The satisfaction that I have with your services has far surpassed the services of any other company that I have previously subscribed to. The moderators teaching is what I value the most.

    George Z.
  • I wanted to mention how much I have benefited from subscribing to Pristine and the Advanced Trading Room. It is remarkable how much I have learned about trading from Pristine. Your market calls are very impressive, and what I appreciate most is your sincerity in sharing knowledge and expertise so that the members of the room will also do well on their own by learning to listen to what the market is saying.

I have received much hand holding and extra attention whenever I asked for guidance and advice. It is easy to see that Pristine's main goal is to make sure each member develops the skills and discipline necessary to be a successful trader. Believe me, I have made my mistakes, but you have been great at getting me on the right track by pointing out my errors and reinforcing the importance of following the rules and being disciplined. Many of these points I already knew, but for one reason or another, did not pay close enough attention.

Many of Pristine's trades are incredible calls. I have not always been able to trade your calls, but by following your trades I have learned to identify what makes the trade successful. I am truly grateful to have learned from the best during the worst time in NASDAQ history. I feel I have gained knowledge that will benefit me for years to come and find that I am gaining confidence in my ability to be a successful trader. Since late December, my account has increased at least 30%, which is great considering my lack of experience and the fact that I am trading with limited funds. I know for a fact that others in the room have been even more successful.

Thank you for providing such an excellent service. Hope your New Year is off to a great start.

    Sincerely, Debi H.
  • With the recommendations of Pristine and the Advanced Room I have increased my portfolio almost 40 % since 12/22. When we started positioning in the yearenders that you suggested. Since I have found out about the Advanced Room and joined it I have stopped my severe bleeding and started to regain some serious losses. I am most grateful for the education from your website but especially the discipline I have gained being in the room. I wish I found it sooner.

    Sincerely,

    Don Z.
  • I wrote an earlier email about how satisfied I was with the Advanced Room. I mentioned that I have doubled my account since late December and have about $140,000 in gains.

After I wrote the message, I realized that I forgot to mention that this was done with proper money management and a portfolio of stocks rather than simply one huge risky winner. My biggest winner was probably XIRC which got a buyout offer from INTC this morning ($30,000). I owned about 15 different small cap stocks (which tend to have the strongest bounces during January). About 9 were bought mainly primarily on Pristine's recommendation (and nice technical daily bottoming charts). Three were stocks that I discovered. Three were stocks that Pristine didn't officially recommend but I liked the technical patterns. I remember you teaching us that there are times that you want to be aggressive. I agreed that this was a time to be aggressive. The Nasdaq had just experienced a massive decline and January is typically a month when stocks bounce. My account was totally margined out but I didn't experience even one day with a drawdown. I have a profit on almost all my stocks (typically $5000 - $10,000).

    Jordan S.
  • I joined the Pristine Advanced room roughly 3 months ago because I was at wits end trying to trade this crazy NASDAQ market. I would have one great day followed by 3 bad days, so I figured I would come to Pristine for help. I watched for the first several days before I started following any recommendations. As soon as I felt comfortable, I started trading. Your staff teaches patience, patience, and more patience! They have really turned my trading around, and yet I know that I have so much more to learn from you. Your "yearenders" have netted me a paltry 30-35% this year already. I look forward to working with you in the future in the Pristine Advanced Trading Room.

    Thanks again,

    C. Swearingen III
  • I thought I would take a moment to thank everyone at Pristine for the great job you guys are doing in this difficult trading environment. I have been trading on my own and at other desks for the past 3 years and have never done as well as I am doing now with The Advanced Stock & Derivatives Trading Room. Since mid December I am up a huge 112%!!! This would not necessarily be such a huge accomplishment in a bull market but in a bear market?? You have been right on the money more times than not and your pulse on this insane market is incredible.

I appreciate all the hard work that goes into making Pristine the great place that it is and look forward to a long and profitable relationship.

    Best regards,

    Sherry S.
  • Just wanted you to know that I'm impressed with what the Pristine staff is doing in your Momentum Room. I subscribe to both the Momentum & Advanced Rooms and so far my biggest gains have been in the Momentum Room. Older traders like myself who are tired of the frantic, high-beta pace and are happy to make consistent, respectable gains every day. In the Momentum Room, I netted $1070 on Monday & $408 today, and these are just the kind of gains I want. (On Tuesday and Wednesday I was in the Advanced room). Thanks for the great services.

    Eric B., California
  • Just wanted to send u a note. For about the last month I have been a subscriber to Pristine Chat rooms. ( bstein). I listen to both the Momentum and Advanced Rooms. I have been Day Trading for about a year and losing a lot of money. The daytrading firm I trade with in New York City doesn't have much of a training program. On my own I have read seven books on Day trading including Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader book as well as Toni Turners book. I also have used videos, cassettes, and the active traders magazine to learn. But my point is that I very much appreciate the information that you and the other traders share in the chatrooms. I plan on going to the 3 day seminar but till then I hope the information you share in the chatrooms will hold me over. I take many of the trades that you guys give out in the chatrooms and make money. Besides the instructions that you share such as what to do in the gap up/down situation or when the stock or futures move to fill the gap, I find it very useful that you tell me what side of the market to be on and when to start taking profits. You guys are very professional and I see you don't have to run a chatroom to make living, because you can make plenty of money trading on your own. OK just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for doing all the extra work and for helping me succeed in this field. Because I wasn't till I got involved in the Chat rooms.

    Thanks a lot.

    Glen B., New York
  • Hope all is well. Just wanted to drop a note to express my gratitude at you and your company. I started my trading about 4 months ago after doing tremendous amount of research. What I have learned in the past 4 months as a member of RTR its just unreal. My trading has become so good that even I cant believe what is happening. Unfortunately, you have not been active in RTR since I joined and I look forward to the day you come back so I can learn from you as well.

Believe me, I have been relentless in posting literally hundreds and hundreds of questions as probably one of the most active members in RTR. Pristine has answered just about each one of them contributing tremendously to what I know today. Your staff (who is the best!) has helped me make my trading dream come true. I hope one day to get to know you and all the staff at Pristine on a personal level. Again, I look forward to your return to RTR so that I can learn from your expertise and experience.

    Jaime, New York
  • The RTR has really helped me. I wouldn't dream of canceling. Netted over $20,000 last month trading 500 shares. I'm learning discipline from your comments. Thanks

    -Debra, Alabama
  • I just wanted to take a minute and drop you a note of thanks!!!! My trading efficiency and effectiveness continues to improve day by day and week by week. While many ingredients are responsible for my success, your personal guidance, teaching and training in the Real Time Trading Rooms have recently been (far and away) the elements that have honed my execution skills, and brought together everything that I have learned over the past year and a half...including Pristine Three Day, etc.

I enjoy your consistency, humor, psychology insights into the traders mind, and of course those juicy picks!!!!! Take care and thanks.....

    -Dan, Alaska
  • What Customers Are Saying About The Book

I'm looking forward to learning more from Pristine in the months to come. After purchasing and reading through your book, it is evident that you and your organization truly understand what it takes to be successful in the trading business. I was so impressed that I've decided to open an account with Mastertrader.com

Mr. Modesto Lugo is currently processing my new account and I must let it be known that he has serviced my inquiries with excellence.

    Thank you again,

    Ernest P.
  • Over the past four months I purchased and read over 15 very good books on investing, including "Tools & Tactics for the Master Day Trader". Thank God I found that book. The other books were very informative. I learned a lot from them. But "Tools & Tactics" was exceptional.

    Bob O.
  • Last week I finished my first read-through of Tools and Tactics For The Master Day Trader, upgraded from Pristine Lite to Pristine Silver, and watched and rewatched the micro trading, swing trading, and intra-day trading videotapes. In 2 days I made enough to pay for the book, tapes, and 3 months of Silver...
    Henry J.
  • I have been trading for awhile, but not that successfully, but I found the book at Barnes and Noble around Jan 1, read it. No consummed it. Starting using the ideas and made a great deal of money every day since. So I am a believer.
    Denton D.
  • One of the best daytrading educational sites on the Internet. Of the two dozen books on trading that I have read to date the "Tools and Tactics of the Master Daytrader" is by far the best and most well rounded book on the subject (even with all the typos ). I use it as my trading bible and it has shortened my learning curve considerably, saving me thousands of dollars in mistakes that I was able to avoid. I hope to be able to come to one of their seminars some day. Until then. Keep up the great work.
    Thanks, Michael O.
  • Just a note to thank you for your recommendation regarding "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader". Of the 7 day trading books that I have read to date, it is by far the most valuable, and easy reading as well. I also purchased the tape on Swing Trading which was valuable as well, although the charts etc. that were displayed were not readable. Even so, it was still excellent.

Your advice to pick a direction and stick with it was also well taken. The variety of services that are offered by Pristine seem to meet most, if not all, of my needs.

I am planning on attending the December weekend in Miami.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Jim S.
  • I wanted to write and tell you that reading "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader" may be the BEST thing I have done for my trading since attending one of Adrienne's seminars last April!!!

I am a seasoned trader of 3 years, making my way much as you did as revealed in your book. I have developed my own methodology and trading system based on models that I created for trading the S&P. I use the E-mini and the SPY. I am still struggling as a breakeven trader, though this year I am slightly ahead YTD. It has given me great comfort to know that it took a master such as yourself 6 years!!! Knowing that has taken an enormous amount of pressure off of me(which I apply directly to
myself) I have been mistakenly lead to believe there are all these daytraders that jump in and make six figures after the first 3
months.(bull vs brain confusion) I was starting to feel as though I was failing because I am still breaking even.

Unfortunately my first year as a trader was marked by a 50% gain, I was imprinted by a raging bull market in the small caps and thought I was SMART. Of course you know what happened next. I actually lost 30,000 in a matter of 5 days. I started over and have worked myself to the bone, loving every minute of it too.

I am passionate about trading. Now after reading your book, I have released myself from the pressure to "get it" in 2 years. In fact, though I keep a trading log, I never thought to create a "journal of losers" What a fantastic idea, and I am going to the book store right now to get a set of 2 journals, one for the winners and one for the losers.

Thanks for sharing so much great insight. I am getting my traders
    insight, day by day.!!!

    Sincerely, Ms. Shawn T.
PS I am a swing trader and I LOVED the Bandwagon analogy!!!!! Made
    absolute sense to me.
  • Gentlemen,

I realize how busy you both are, and I don't want to be guilty of taking much of your time, however, I could not let another day go by without writing.

Your new book, "Tools and Tactics For The Master Trader" is one of the best things I have ever purchased in my trading career. It is the most incredible text of all times. The things that you cover in this book touch on so many problems facing traders today. I am guilty of each item that you outlined. I have spent the last two days looking around my office for the microphone that you must have hidden in here in order to be able to describe me in such detail in your book. The time and detail that you have included is a direct reflection of the dedication that you have in helping others succeed.

In my case, I will never be able to properly 'Thank You' for the guidence and education that you have provided to me. I have implemented many of the stragedies that you have outlined and now I will be working on the hesitation to pull the trigger problems that I face each day. You have helped me understand where those problems are and how to work on them.

My hat is off to you guys, and I wish you well in everything that you and your company does.

With all my graditude, Joe F, Las Vegas
  • I'm now reading your book and it's the best one I have come across. It has really helped me to fine tune my trading. Exactly what I was looking for!
    Thanks! Debi
  • I have learned so much from your book I feel I should send you more money!! (Just kidding) My boss has started using incremental sells and trailing stops to exit positions and has added at least $2000 to his profits for the week.

Thanks again for your book. It is worth the price of a college education.

    Mike R, Kansas City
  • Congratulations on your great book! It's definitely "the best" book available on daytrading I've ever read. I can relate to evey point you made. It's precise and very useful and a lot of depth knowledge. You get a lot out of this book. I found the intra-day reversal timeframes most useful at this moment for me personally to trade.
    - Reiko T, Japan
  • I have reread the first part of your book this weekend and have to tell you that I think it is the best I have read on the subject of the psychology of trading, the mental disciples necessary for success, as it were. You leave The Disciplined Trader, Trading to Win and the others in the dust. Your strong point, of course is your speaking to this complex issue in simple, everyday language that is so organized and well thought out that it is not only meaningful, but powerful. This section cannot help but become the standard on the subject in the industry. You are to be congratulated!

Many years ago, there was a series of touted books called Writing Simply,Speaking Simply and Thinking Simply. I could actually hear your voices talking to me as I read that section--and you have incorporated the whole enchilada of the writing simply and thinking simply concepts. The power and simplicity of your writing made me very proud of both of you. I can't wait to get my autographed copy. I'll mark up the one I have (It already looks like a war zone), but I'll treasure your autographed copy.
    - Harriet F, Florida
  • I was in your seminar last week in white plains, I find your seminar so useful. Also I read your book and I find it so complete and the best book I ever read on day trading. I admire your knowledge and info.
    - David D.
  • I loved your book so much I bought 3 extra copies for the other people in our trading company. My boss is going through it and is very intrigued by it. He has been trading for about a year using Realtick III and is interested in attending your next seminar.
    Mike R.
  • I was out of country for a couple of weeks. My wife and I went on a two weeks cruise to Spain and Portugal. On the day of our departure I received your book and packed it in my carry-on. Needless to say my wife could not peel me away from your book, and what a wonderful time I had! No phone, no CNBC, no interruptions. Master Day Trader was talking to me. The land of Servantes, Gaudy and El Greco as a backdrop and your Book as a centerpiece!

Thank you so much for the priceless tool and for the great writing!

    - Allan A., Ohio
  • I would especially like to thank Pristine for the effort they put into their book "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader". It is a FABULOUS book....I have learned soooo much from it. The BEST of the five books I have read on the subject!
    Kieth G.
  • I've read a few chapters and its like listening to the seminar, but even better. Actually when I read your saying "You like to hear the cash register ring" it was about 11:30 this morning and it galvanized me into closing all my morning daytrades (i.e. EXFO, ABSC, ANEN, etc).. and fanned the embers of my short positions (FDRY, ELNT, EMC and PWAV). I reported to the thread what I was doing. Nasdaq was still positive, now its down 77. I have to finish reading the 'words of wisdom' before tomorrow's trading. Just when I thought there was not much more to learn.....

Contratulations, both of you for a great piece of work!
    Barbara S., Florida
  • A Japanese proverb says, “If you wish to know the road, inquire of those who have traveled it.” The authors of Tools and Tactics for the Master Trader clearly know the road. Their unique insights, trading tactics and powerful tools, so enjoyably presented, make this a book that belongs on every trader’s shelf.
Steve Nison, CMT - Author of Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques (www.candlecharts.com)
  • Bought the tools and tactics book... great knowledge about both trading and life in general-i recommend it to anyone serious about trading the right way.
    David S, New York
  • Love your site, received and read your book over the 4th. Probably the best I've read, ranks with O'Neils stuff. Been doing this (swing and day trading) for about 13 years, learned a lot the hard, bloody and expensive way and is really great to get some reaffirmation on some of my hard lessons and conclusions thru the book and to learn new things. Especially good to get hammered over and over and over to "DROP the losers."

    Charles L., Homer, Alaska
  • I have just finished reading your book. Congratulations on one of the best day/swing trading books out there. Thanks and best regards.

    Selwyn M.

  • Tools and Tactics for The Master Day Trader is in a different class than many of the stock trading books I've read -- the intrinsic high quality of the underlying material simply shines through. I like the values espoused in this book -- it speaks to my 8 years of short-term trading experience and resonates as "the truth". That's unusual, as far as reading trading books goes!
Steve B., Palo Alto CA -- Private equity trader since 1992
  • Your book is a wonder - the allegories, the philosophic incorporations and of course your trading method is all brilliant. I have read with great entertainment and appreciation to crowds the 'wagon story' !!!
    - David P., Greenville, SC
  • I recently took a one-week vacation with my wife and two kids and had the opportunity to read this book that I so anxiously had been anticipating and wanting to sink my teeth into. I'll tell you... it was worth the wait! The writing is unique, funny, and at times very philosophical. It really makes you think. Think like a real professional that is. When do I kill a trade, when are my odds best to enter a trade, what is the herd doing, when is it best to just sit and wait, when is the best and most precise time to strike with confidence and why! I found it enlightening to be able to look into the minds of two traders and how they go about their trading lives. Thinking right and having the proper mindset are so important and this book really seemed to hit that home for me.

What's great about this book is that every reader will walk away with something different. Some will find the charting techniques, the cash management skills, the level II interpretation, amongst other subjects to be the most meaningful and eye opening. For me it was the psychology and the revelation that you cannot eliminate loss, but rather that the art lies in how you manage it. As a successful Pristine Student I have learned to pinpoint key turning points with great accuracy, and as a result I experience very few losing trades. I had almost eliminated loss. I recognize now that this is a dangerous mindset to be in. One that almost guarantees failure because losses are inevitable. Due in part to such a mindset I have found myself at times holding on to a losing trade a little too long simply because I did not want to ruin my long streak of winning trades. This is just outright silly. This book has helped me come to the realization that in trading as in life, losses and mistake will happen and cannot be avoided. This lesson alone will help me take my trading to a brand new level. I will read this section of the book over and over again until it becomes an innate part of my being.

These are just some of the items that left an impression on me. I hope they help you as well. All in all the book was excellent. I found it to be the most comprehensive book on the subject on the market. It offers something for everybody. From the novice to the self proclaimed trading expert. It is sure to become the Active Traders book of choice for many years to come. Kudos to the Pristine Crew for a job well done.

    - George M., New York
  • I awaited the release of "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader" with much anticipation. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was amazed at the clarity of their approach to explaining successful trading.

Of particular merit is the 90-minute VHS offering "Swing Trading" The videotape does a masterful job of explaining the most basic of swing trading tactics, using trendlines with candlestick charts which is the core of system, as well as our own.

From the moment I opened the book and perused the table of contents, I knew I had finally found the book that I could recommend to others without fear. I have read dozens of books on day trading and investing. Honestly, I have put nearly each and every one of them down in disgust or disappointment. Most are long on generalizations and pathetically thin on strategies, tactics, and mind set. You will not find that in "Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader."

The table of contents alone is worthy of note. The book is divided into three parts which logically progress from creating the proper attitude and discipline to tools and tactics to putting it all together in today's electronic trading world. Each chapter is subdivided into topics which are conveniently listed with page numbers in the front of the book. No digging through an index for keywords to find a subject you wanted to go back and review. This book truly qualifies as a manual.

"Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader" makes for good, easy reading. It is obvious the authors followed their own advice given throughout the book. Keep it simple. In fact, I chuckled a bit when I read that one test of a clear trading system is for it to be readily understandable by any intelligent 12 year old. I could not agree more. This book does just that. It is by no means watered down, but it is clear and easy to understand. Frequent uses of similes and metaphors to relate the inner workings of the market to real life make this a good basic educational work on the mass psychology of trading.

But it does not stop there. A great portion of the book is dedicated to improving the reader's psychological approach to the market, and when I'm asked to point out why most traders fail, this is the primary cause of disaster. In Chapter 5, "The Seven Deadly Sins of Trading: How to Combat Them and Defeat Them," I saw an eerie reflection of my first year of trading. I committed every single one of them. I still have to fight the urge to "sin" in my trading. If each trader could read this chapter and simply apply the wisdom presented, really apply it, the price of the book would be made up within the first day of trading following its application, many times over. They have it right. They say 85 percent of trading is discipline and approach. I say it's 90 percent. I'm not going to argue five points. No matter what the percentage, you cannot and will not win until you conquer your toughest enemy, yourself.

As for the trading tactics presented, you will find yourself comfortably at home with their main approach of using the basics of trendlines, resistance, and support along with the Japanese candlesticks' revelation of the market's psychology behind stock moves. Each strategy is spelled out in clear, concise language with excellent examples which are as durable as these most basic of trading indicators. There's nothing really fancy about it. It is simple and sound trading at its best. One can apply the strategies from 1 minute charts to daily charts. Each step of the trade setup is spelled out clearly. The temptation will be, as I have said so many times, to try to improve on the strategy. It's too simple. It has to be too simple. How can anything so simple make money in such a complex place as today's electronic markets? Keep it simple, my friends.

In summary, even grizzled veterans of $50,000 losing streaks who have come back to amass small personal fortunes will find this book of great benefit. For those of you who have not endured the high cost of tuition the market can exact in exchange for making you a more savvy trader, this book may serve to reduce that tuition considerably.

"Tools and Tactics for the Master Day Trader" cannot make you a better trader; you will have to do that for yourself. But in applying the wisdom found on nearly every page, you could find yourself at least a year ahead of the pack. Would you spend 40 bucks to gain at least a year's worth of knowledge?

I wish this book had been available to me when first started trading. I saw my first trade go down in a $4500 ball of flames and carnage. I sat back in shock and nearly lost it emotionally. How could this have happened?

If this book had been out then, I would have at least known why.

  • Pristine Trading Rooms

This is one of the best methods I have seen -- or THE best method. It is very flexible, very real, and very much based on reality and common sense and most importantly price -- Which is the ultimate no lag indicator and the only indicator you really need and YES it is very real... STOP LOOKING... I've been searching for a long time.

    -Omar I.
  • Greg,

Today in the Futures Trading Room (FTR) when it seemed that the world's attention including many traders were being drawn like a magnet to Tiger Woods a great demonstration was going on in the ETR of Kurt calmly, focusing his attention on what matters. He had identified a pattern, executed a trade and quietly managing it successfully and without fanfare. It made me think about the Olympics and the countless hours that people, (athletes, coaches, parents etc) go through all for the brief opportunity to demonstrate ability. Watching and listening to Kurt leaves me with a feeling that the business decision which I'm making to attempt to become a consistently successful trader is an achievable one, and not a pipe dream and there is no better place to be investing my time than being with Pristine.

    Many thanks Greg.

    Tom F.
  • Wow!

So far, I love your new 'real-time trading room'. For someone like me, a market 'newbie', looking over the shoulder of experienced traders is VERY educational. To this point, I have just a basic, basic framework of knowledge, but it looks as if this framework is going to be augmented greatly by this new service.

This is fun - you've got a 'win-win' winner on your hands, I'm sure.

    Chris, Oregon
  • Hi Avery,

I want to say thanks for your leadership and teaching in the PMTR. You are doing a great job. It's funny; you'd think this stuff would sink in, yet everyday, when I get a chance to listen to you, it seems like I learn new stuff. Some is repetitive and the basic material is similar to things you've said before. Yet, when you discuss it in relation to individual stock chart patterns, it seems to have more relevance and I learn something new. I have found that I am getting better at recognizing patterns all the time. Now if I can just get my plan right, and develop the discipline and consistency to follow it, maybe I'll begin making money.

Anyway, thanks Avery for all your help.

    David J.
  • I've been in the room with you for the last month and I gotta tell you, you've helped me overcome some real issues I've been struggling with for years. The primary issue has been playing early and playing gaps for the big gains that come early. Hit several milestones this week.

Highest intra day gains ever in 5 years of trading came yesterday and today (over a dollar each day). Had gains of over .40 in the first 20 minutes at least once each day this week; another first. You've also helped me look at gaps in a different way by explaining the psychology. You got me trading much earlier and more aggressively, successfully. Two months ago, I had never scanned pre-open gaps. Now it is my primary pre-market activity.

My overall average daily gain has gone from .10 or less to the mid .30's in just 2 weeks and that is trending higher as I get more comfortable with the open and find higher quality setups via TPM1. Average daily loss is around .05 - .10. The average gain is clearly because of overcoming the fear of playing the open. My goal is to be done trading by mid day, and you have brought me much closer to that goal. I took TPM 1 last month, and look forward to taking your gap class later this year in a combo package with TPM 2, if available.

    Thanks again.

    Sincerely, Walt K.
  • Avery,

I do not know how you do it all day. Day after day with all that energy. I have only been in the Pristine Method Trading Room (PMTR) for a couple weeks and I have to say, thanks! I'm looking forward to your Gap Seminar. I have the Manual and I will go through about half of it tonight.

I have been trading since 1998 and I haven't put things together until I took the TMP1 and TMP2. I am signed up for the Masters Program. I am an old guy (55) and I have two jobs (full time). The one where I am tonight, I want to retire from and trade for a living. I am so close with the right tools and Organization. All I need is more practice and experience. You guys have it all. Nobody teaches this stuff like you guys do.

Thanks for being there and see you in the PMTR on Monday.

    Peter S.
  • I just wanted to give you a quick note of thanks. Your lectures and emphasis on a written trading plan (to save me from the idiot within), have proven invaluable and will most likely prove to be the turning point in my trading career. I've already seen a vast difference this week in controlling the internal conflicts when in a trade.

Thanks for all your work in the room and have a great weekend.

    Dan Z.
  • I joined Pristine's Educational Trading Room late last year but have just recently begun an attempt at trading full time. I actually was in your room for about 2 months back in 2001. I had 6 weeks off work then. Of course back then I thought that would be ample time to master everything there was to know! While obviously it didn't work out as I expected, it was a great learning experience and I always knew I would give it another try. This time I have 6 months off work and more financial resources behind me.

I feel like a light bulb has gone off in the last couple of weeks. I am starting to get the big picture. Not sure but (insert sarcasm here) it might have something to do with taking Trading The Pristine Method – Part I and your DVDs! They were both great. I would highly recommend others doing the Home Study Version of TPM I a few weeks later after the live course. I have had a written plan now for a few weeks (still evolving daily) and I am getting close to sticking to it 100% of the time (I know, I know "Just do it".) By the way I lectured myself for trading Monday (after TPM1) and purposely did not trade on Tuesday. That turned out to be very enlightening. Not just because I could focus completely on learning but it was very empowering knowing that I could actually go a whole day without trading. I was a little disappointed to learn that you can't make money when you don't trade but I learned you can't lose it either! (More sarcasm.)

Anyway what I really wanted to do was to thank you for your daily guidance. I get so much from the room. All the necessary tools are there for the taking for anyone who puts an effort into it. I also realize we should not be in the room just to be "entertained" (you touched on this a couple days ago). However the room does provide social interaction. This is important to me and I suspect to others who come from a "regular" job and are used to being around people during the day. That is my roundabout way of saying I enjoy your sense of humor and the general atmosphere of the room. I can't imagine not having the room to take part in even once I am a "Master Trader".

    Dave H.
  • I have been listening today to a future trading room promoted by a certain broker - they are down 5 es points while I am up 60 ym points - boy am I ever grateful for Pristine.

    Larry D.
  • Bobbi and I have been really impressed with the quality of training that we have received at Pristine and also the high level of competency from all of the people that we encountered at Pristine. We have also marveled at the level of hard work that all of you put into the training of us newbies and the other people in the training room. You all seem to put in countless hours into the effort of trading. So this has inspired us to work hard too. It takes an unbelievable amount of time to become a trader, we have found, and you at Pristine do it with cheerfulness and a great deal of patience.

    Best regards

    Don S.
  • Avery,

I really appreciate the great job you do in the PMTR, you both put a lot into it and provide a tremendous value for the active trader. I've been "in the zone" since taking TPM II last year. For January I put up a 6:1 win loss ratio with the average gain three times larger then the average loss. These are the best numbers I've ever put up and I owe it to Pristine and some persistent work on my part. So far I've only had one losing day this year. Achieving that level of consistency didn't come over night and I don't think I would have ever done that without keeping good records of every trade.

    Thanks, Larry S.
  • Just a note to let you know how much I appreciate you running the room... Been in  here for a year + (this time)  and I know I have said it before but... your consistent approach of teaching  the Pristine Method® is really appreciated and your lectures have been instrumental in helping me reach the level that I am at now.  I learn more each day that I am in the room.  Just read the trading lesson of the week. When I was reading the article  I suddenly realized that I understood the concepts without re-reading and examining the charts ( finally starting to get it). I truly understand and see the set ups in advance now. I know that I am on the right path to my goals. I hope someday I can repay you in some way.
    Thank You, Tony S.
  • I trust you and yours are well and happy.

I just wanted to say how right you are in extolling the virtues of the Trading Room, as you did when we first met in Toronto. I'm feeling gradually more confident, although I've got a very long way to go. But the Room is imperative to anyone serious who wants to get good at this stuff: an extension course, and an ongoing class. Too right Bruce!

    Enjoy the day, Tom F.
  • Forever grateful. Without you I would still be mourning my losses in 2000, 2201 2002. You have truly helped me to regain financial security in my retirement.

Thanks again for sharing your brain power.

    August T.
  • Thanks so much... This is my 2nd "official" week with Pristine after finishing Trading the Pristine Method® Part 1. Last week I just missed my weekly goal by a small amount and this week I made it with a day and a half to spare.... For me that's a real accomplishment.

I can not say enough about the professionalism and discipline that you display in the chat room, it is such a change from what I was used to at [ former service ]. I just wish that I had found Pristine long ago before the "bump".

I know I still have much to re-learn and many old habits to break and prepared to put in the work to make that happen. But I know that with help from Pristine and "class" people like you (and of course others that I have yet to meet), I have made the right choice.

Thanks so much again... Reed D.
  • I took the The Trading the Pristine Method® Part I course in Irvine on November 9 & 10. I have been in the chat room this week as a free trial member. I am very impressed with your capability and style as a trader/instructor and appreciate your sense of humor. I will be signing up for the Pristine Method® Room on Monday...

    Ta-li S.
  • Let me start by saying how much I have enjoyed your trading room. When learning to fly, its always nice to have the flight instructor sitting next to you - fewer crash landings that way. Your picks have been right more often than not and your concern for not letting us get to extended risk wise is very comforting. The concern seems genuine, thank you.

    Todd M.
  • I wanted to thank you for your efforts in the trading room. A week or so ago, I tried the free trial on the final Friday and played PALM (one of your suggestions late in the day) which worked wonderfully. I was excited by the luxury of having extra eyes searching for setups that I wouldn't find or would just miss (like PALM, which I would have never spotted). That was enough to get me to subscribe, but I was happily surprised to find that the real benefit of this room is seeing your discipline in action. I've been trading full time for almost a year and have been exposed to several great traders, but I've never witnessed the kind of discipline you display. It is very refreshing to see.
    Robert D.
  • I am amazed at your trading, and teaching abilities. I think the measure is how relaxed you stay as you move in and out of difficult situations so even tempered. I've been in the Pristine Method® Trading Room for two months, very very grateful to be a student here and learning the basics.
    Gary
  • I have been in the RTR for almost one month now. I feel myself getting better every day and lots of it has to do with what I have learned from you guys. So I must thank you for that. I am not afraid to tell you that I have looked at all the chat rooms out there. You guys are by far the best.

  • Dear Pristine Family -

Thank you for your mentorship program and for ALL of the educational tools Pristine has afforded me in my trading career. I am well on my way to becoming a successful trader because of what I have learned and am continuing to learn via Pristine.

I appreciate all of the free workshops and the many opportunities that are continually presented to me via your website, DVDs, courses, etc. Your professionalism, your personal care and concern, your entire staff - teachers, counselors, technicians, and your superb customer service are exceptional! I am one extremely satisfied customer and look forward to sharing Pristine with other traders that come my way.

    Thank you again!

    Blessed and Sincerely, Paula B.
  • Hi Greg,

I just wanted to send you a note. I've now been a client of Pristine for almost six months and I consider it to be the best money I've ever spent.. You truly run a first class operation with first class people. I wanted to give a special "kudu" to someone in your company. As you know, the first point of contact can set the tone for whether you want to do business with a company, or for that matter, with anyone. My first point of contact at Pristine was Carlos Jimenez. I found him attentive and straightforward. Never did I feel like he was trying to sell me something. Today, even after he has made his money on what I purchased, he still remains genuinely friendly, attentive and responsive. Pristine is a quality product, but you have to get someone through the door to experience the education being offered. In Carlos, you've got a great "doorman".

    Congratulations, Rick W.
  • I have never experienced a more professional trading school in my 10 years of trading.....it was truly amazing.

    Joel E.
  • My name is Joe S. About a week ago, I spoke with you about losing some valuable Pristine materials, specifically one specific section from the TPM 1 manual. I just wanted to let you know that I have received those materials. I just wanted to thank you for going out of your way to accomodate my request. I personally appreciate your efforts and your helpful and friendly customer service. And I thank Pristine for always being such a pleasure to deal with. Thank You once again.

    Joe S.
  • Hello Staff at Pristine:

I wanted to write a kudos letter thanking you all for the amazing work done finding winning plays and caring enough to give clear examples and explanations on what to look for in the future. Each day I learn something new because of you. You people at Pristine are no doubt well educated and truly the best there is, put another way, A CLASS ACT. You only reinforce what I was told almost a year ago by a friend, to get the BEST education for self directed traders go to Pristine.

I am so thankful to my friend for that advice, to Pristine for being out there to offer the education and for you, the Best of the Best Staff members that makeup Pristine.

I don't know all your names but if I did I would write each and every one of you a similar thank you. Please accept this thank you and praise for your outstanding efforts and know my goal is to some day be as good as you are.

    Sincerely,

    Richard P.
  • It has been a little over a year since I discovered Pristine.com. In that year I have gone through 5 of the CD based Seminars, subscribed to the Pristine Silver service, and most recently attended Trading the Pristine Method® Part I in Irvine with Bill Knotts. If I could pick one thing that draws me to Pristine it would definitely be the fact that Pristine is all about education and that has become the main reason I love trading. And although we trade because we want to enjoy the profits that successful trading brings, I can honestly say that I love trading because Pristine has made me an educated trader. TPM1 was an incredible learning experience taught by seasoned professional trader and has completely changed the way I view a chart as well as enhanced my daily routine for trading and picking my trades. Other organizations lure people in with promises of big profits measured by three figure percent returns or the big “kachingo’s” . Pristine makes no promises of big profits, but the Pristine Trained Trader soon learns that an educated trader will be a successful trader. I have just registered for Trading the Pristine Method® Part II and plan on attending the Two-week Trading Lab. Pristine has become an organization that I have been able to trust with something I take very seriously – my education. Thank-you all.

  • I usually write to companies to complain about either lack of service, or poor service in this era of lack of customer service. However, it is the opposite this time. I wanted to let you know how impressed we are with the service we have gotten from Pristine in general, but especially from Marvin Balat.....He has helped us in many ways, is always friendly, is helpful; and even though we can't see him, he seems to always have a smile for us when we call. That's hard to find this days. You can be sure if we need any help we will be calling him. Both me and my sister appreciate you having that high caliber employee.

    Joe Y.
  • Your service team is without a doubt, the best. Your response to any inquiries is immediate and courteous in addition to the knowledge of your team, beyond expectation! Thankyou for everything and to all a Happy & Healthy New Year for 2003.

    Doug K.
  • While it is still too early for me to know whether I will be able to fulfill my desire of becoming a successful trader, I know that my involvement with Pristine offers me a real chance - the rest is up to me.

All the Pristine people I have met have been true professionals with a great attitude and have helped me enormously. You have a great organization with great people. Keep up the good work!

    Shahid Z.
  • I want to thank you very much for allowing me to sit in on your course this past weekend. Pristine has the best trader training available in the market place and we want to make sure our members know.

  • Gentlemen:

One of the ways of gauging performance as an organization is by direct feedback from your customers. I wish to express how pleased I am with Pristine in all aspects. Every contact I've had with someone from your organization, every product I've used has truly been first class. My e-mail and questions are addressed, phone calls returned, etc. The Pristine Method room is excellent and all that I hoped for. The seminars were just excellent...what else can I say. You have really built an outstanding organization in this industry.

    JD B.
  • Pristine has opened my eyes to trading with awareness! I see clearly that my previous small success was based on luck and hopes. Thanks for making your tools and knowledge available.

    Dave K., Rhode Island
  • I know you must be very busy so I will be brief. I wanted to say thank you,I have learned more in the last five days than in the previous 2 1/2 years of online trading. I can see my way to consistent profits now for the first time and feel like I'm gaining a measure of control.

    Paul M, Washington
  • You guys are incredible!! The courage, self-assuredness, emotional stability & mettle to make a move like you made today is certainly not lost on me. To identify the situation AND espouse a plan of action is a service and slice of experience that is invaluable. Your dedication to education and the psychology of trading is certification of truly centered pristine psyches.

    Lynn, Indiana
  • Just wanted to thank you for sharing your time last Sunday and affording me the opportunity to sit and ask questions as you created the "Chart of the Week". What a different perspective it provided. When I opened Pristine's site Monday morning and printed the chart, an incredible rush went through me. I recognized that while your charts are viewed by thousands of traders and analysts world wide, I was fortunate to be right there observing and learning as you created it. The passion and commitment you put into the chart were infectious.

    Linda S.
  • First, I would like to tell you what a great job you have done this past week. I tuned in late Monday and found great insight as well as a seasoned professional. Just within these few days I have seen things much more simplified than ever before.

    Tim V.
  • The Street Smarts (not the book) that you are passing to us is PRICELESS. No trading or technical analysis books I've studied or seminars/courses I've attended in the last 10 years have given me the trading skills I'm learning from you in 2 1/2 weeks.

    Harry, Georgia
  • Hey guys! Broke a fourteen month old one day trading record today....feels gooood!! Thanks for the great calls.
